Fun, filling and worth every penny! - Great food, led by a fantastic chef and guide. He made the whole day fun and we had loads of food, wine, drinks all day - nothing was too much bother. It felt like we really got value for money and learned a lot. It was fun to be with a group of other learners also. I booked this as a surprise for my partners 30th and it felt very special activity to do for a n occasion. Would highly recommend!

This is a must, loved it. - From start to finish, this was incredible fun. All ages all abilities all appetites. This cookery course really catered to the customer and with a big heart. We were amazed at how much we learnt and how full we were when we ate what we had made (and it’s plentiful), plenty to drink and endless laughs. This is something you don’t want to miss. I would definitely recommend this to anyone and would definitely do this again. Our Chef Paolo you are the best, Thank you for a great day. Xx

Favorite part of our vacation - This was our favorite part of our trip to Taormina! The market tour was educational and exciting, as we saw where all of our fresh food was coming from. We ended up getting a private lesson, which was incredibly engaging, and the final dishes were incredible. All the restaurant staff were so kind and funny, making the experience that much better. We highly recommend it!

Taste of Sicily at Porta Messina Ristorante - We took this on our first full day, so we were a bit jet lagged, but this kept our attention from start to finish. I was impressed with how friendly the chef and all the kitchen staff were. My hubby isn't a cook but still had a grand time! Cooking is a passion of mine, and I enjoyed learning professional tips and the stories behind each dish. We ate and drank so much... my advice is to take this class, but don't eat breakfast or plan any dinner because you will eat more than your fill.

Fantastic cooking class and meal - Fantastic cooking class and meal! I had a great experience learning to make Sicilian -style pasta alla Norma, eggplant Parmesan, salt baked fish, sardine fritters fried in tomato sauce, swordfish kebabs, and sardines baked in lemon leaves with master pastry chef Maurizio. He also served great antipasto with homemade bread, and cannoli stuffed with pastry cream. I enjoyed the cooking lesson, excellent meal, atmosphere, and peek into the organized workings of a busy Italian restaurant kitchen during dinner. We received a copy of the recipes and a souvenir apron. Thank you, Maurizio!
