Tui Godfather Tour in Savoca Sicily - Review Fabio – Godfather Tour Our party of 4 took a TUI Godfather Tour to Savoca with the fabulous Fabio on 11/6/2024. We were collected in Letojanni by coach and unfortunately we were late boarding due to parking issues. However, Fabio and driver Pipo were extremely understanding and waited for us patiently. The journey up the mountain to our destination was a very tricky one due to the narrow roads and hairpin bends but Pipo made it look very easy! The scenery was stunning and the commentary engaging. The timing of the tour was spot on with enough time to look around the souvenir shops and sample a lemon granita and brioche from the very café that Michael Corleone sat in. Fabio is a font of knowledge about Sicily and the locations used in the Godfather films. He explained everything with just the right amount of depth and kept us all engaged. We would highly recommend this tour, make sure you get Fabio as your guide. He made the tour very interesting by giving us a snapshot of Sicilian history too. As he pointed out Sicily is not just about the Mafia as Francis Ford Coppola made The Godfather as a movie, not a documentary, so it was good to hear about the real Sicily.
