Back at the restaurant all the participants will participate in the foreground throughout the preparation of Sicilian recipes, in a home-style just as per Sicilian tradition. Appetizers, first courses and second courses will be created with great family harmony all with a breathtaking view!

After the preparation, the participants will sit in their seats to start the lunch prepared by them accompanied by two local homemade wines.

Cooking Classes of a lifetime. - Took this trip with Road Scholar and got four extraordinary cooking classes with Chef Massimo. It was nothing short of spectacular in every way. Chef Massimo clearly knows his stuff, you can see he just has that sense of how to cook, spice, and create fantastic meals. He is funny, patient, skillful and a great teacher. We all felt empowered to go back home and make fantastic meals for our friends and families. Bravo to Chef Massimo!

A very special experience that we won’t soon forget - Far, far exceeded what we thought would have happened with a cooking class. Chef Massimo met us and brought us to a local market he taught us how to correctly pick fruits, vegetables and fish. We went to a meat market and we learned so much that we will be able to bring back home and use with our own family. Just in those few encounters we had learned so much. We took a walk from there across the little city to his home overlooking the water. Along the way he was teaching us everything he could about the area and what helps them make their decisions in cooking. My husband and I are both cooks and weren’t sure that we would really learn a lot. Wow were we wrong!
At his beautiful house with an incredible view, we met his staff and began cutting up, what we had purchased at the market. We made
make our own pasta, made caponata, pasta alla norma, stuffed squash blossoms, lemon leaf wrapped meatballs and cooked a whole fish. He taught us the Sicilian ways and we had so much fun cooking as a group. Our group was only eight people and I think that was a perfect size.
At the end of cooking, we sat down to a beautiful lunch where he and his staff served us what we have been preparing all day. He is a very special Chef and we can’t wait to come back and cook something else with him. Thank you Chef Massimo and staff for a memorable day. The only thing that he could’ve done to make this better is if Pavarotti showed up for lunch.😂.

Heidi and Micheles Sicilian food tour - Cooking with Massimo was amazing! We made 6 dishes! Everything was so delicious. He is a passionate chef who loves his homeland and its food. We learned alot!!! We highly recommend a Massimo food experience … mille grazie Massimo!!!

The Best - Best cooking experience. Whether you are an experienced chef or novice, Massimo has this thing down. We loved the food and education, but Massimo himself is entertaining and great company, and the views from his place were incredible. We learned so much and can’t wait to recreate what we made back in the States. This was the best part of our vacation to Taormina.

A delicious way to spend half a day in Taormina - We thoroughly enjoyed our cooking experience with Massimo. He shared lots of very useful insights about regional Sicilian cooking as well as the ingredients to select. The cooking itself was great fun - varied tasks and lots of different techniques were explained. The facilities are great and the whole set up is professional yet relaxed and highly enjoyable. At the end of the session, everything is served up and we thoroughly enjoyed our lunch with the new friends we had made on the course. Would highly recommend.

You must cook with Chef Massimo - Highly recommend this experience. We had an amazing day. 6 hours of time together. We went to the fresh markets and butcher and were instructed to cook everything. We had a blast. Massimo was so knowledgeable and entertaining. His passion for Sicilian food and the best ingredients came shinning through. The class was not too large and we had a feast complete with Amazing wine. We made Componata, stuffed Zucchini Flowers, Pasta with peas and potatoes (yum), Pasta Ala Norma, meatballs in lemon leaves, and pork stuffed artichokes hearts,l and salt crusted Red Snapper ( Amazing). We were so full we couldn’t eat dinner. This is an absolute must. And you must cook with chef Massimo.

Cooking with a view - What a wonderful day we had. Massimo is passionate about Sicily, good quality food, cooking and enjoying it with friends and family. He taught us a lot about selecting quality vegetables and fish at the market. We then proceeded to his beautiful kitchen with a view and prepared many wonderful dishes. We then sat and enjoyed our food and wine, with new friends in a beautiful setting. What a special day. Join Massimo and you won’t be disappointed.

Cooking class with Chef Massimo - Chef Massimo is a wealth of knowledge and a genuinely nice and interesting guy! He starts in the market and discusses local produce and recent changes in crops due to climate concerns and then talks about how to spot fresh fish. We then picked up meat at the butcher's and headed to his house to cook and eat. He loves to talk and has a lot of valuable things to say! The hours flew by as we were very busy and then we got to eat some delicious dishes that we prepared. He is an authentic Siciliano and was extremely welcoming and energetic and appears to love what he does. It was very easy to have a wonderful time in his presence and everything we made was just delicious. We now feel privileged to have some of his Nonna's secrets to Sicilian cooking! Highly recommend! Totally worth it!!

Best cooking class ever! - Probablly the best cooking class we've attended. Massimo is high-energy, knowledgeable and very engaging. His pre-class market visit was highly informative. During the class, he helped all 8 participants thru the steps. The after-class meal was tremendous.
