Great views of the Island. - Great value for money, wonderful sights. Bus driver and staff were really friendly and helpful. The easiest way to see the island.

A beautiful day trip... - Thanks for everything. A beautiful sightseeing tour done together with friends. We saw Castelmolla with its beautiful panoramic views.

Better to avoid! - We paid 20 euros per ticket and when we returned the bus was full and they told us that they had to wait for the next one which would come after 2 hours. So there were also people who consequently missed the departure of a train etc etc. Crazy!

Wet, Wet, Wet - we were certainly ‘Wishing we were Lucky’ - We had become increasingly aware that a possibly very efficient way to see more of Taormina, particularly beyond the city centre, and into the surrounding areas, would be use one of two ‘Hop-on Hop-off’ bus services. One is operated by Interbus (the major bus operator in Taormina), and the other is operated by this company. We decided to find-out more and walked down to the bus terminus. We were snared by a very energetic high pressure ‘super salesperson’. On the morning of departure he sold my Partner two tickets (at €20 each) for a bus tour that would take in Letojanni, Isola Bella and Gardini Naxos (plus optionally Castelmola), starting and ending at the bus terminus in Taormina. Incidentally you must really have a head for heights to go to Castelmola the road is narrow and features many sheer drops. The idea is that you can get off the bus at any of the stops, explore, and then get back-on another bus later to complete the round-trip journey. The buses used by both operators are open-sided, i.e. what would be a normal half-glazed side of a bus was not glazed at all. I did hear that some busses also can be made open-top: but I couldn’t verify that, and to be honest it didn’t look as though it could be done. Personally I had wanted to use the cheaper Interbus Ho-Ho service (at €15); mostly because I just didn’t particularly like the sales technique used employed by the super salesperson. All the Interbus Ho-Ho busses that I saw had pull-down rolled-up plastic windows fitted. Some CityBySee busses had the same type of windows available as well, but most did not, and that included ours! It rained, in fact it pissed down, everyone sat on the windows-side seats became absolutely drenched. What gets my goat is that the super salesperson must have known it would rain, and still sold my Partner the tickets that morning. He also must have known that there was a good chance that the bus was going to remain open-sided. He did nothing to advise us, or offer a refund, or offer to allow us to travel later once the rain stopped. He just herded us onto the bus and off we went. I should have refused to get on, but the rain was just spotting at that point. Adding insult to injury we saw Interbus Ho-Ho buses with the plastic windows in place! Things were worse for travellers wanting to get on to the bus at each stop; they had to stand in the rain because our bus was full. They had to wait another hour in the rain (the CityBySee service is hourly and the round trip takes 1.5 to 2 hours depending on traffic). I can’t blame the super salesperson for the rain, but he should have given us choices once he saw the bus was going to be open-sided.

The most terrible experience - Worst worst worst transport Such a disgrace, they lie and rip you off and very unprofessional. They played a part in making my trip bad and waste if time and money. Trust me : never ever try to book with them

SCAM - A real scam. Expensive and non-existent service. 4 of us threw away 80 euros. The service seller (whose stand is located at the door of the RIOLO bar Taormina Interbus station) lied to us, he was not honest with the bus system regarding their stops or in warning us that with the time we had we would not be able to complete the service. complete tour. Once on the bus, the driver does not stop at the stops or announce them in such a way that we lost the possibility of getting off at Isola Bella and in order to visit it we had to get off the route and walk 1.5 km with the risk that this implied. Definitely a DISASTER - NOT RECOMMENDED.

Tourist trap - We bought our tickets in Taormina for the next morning. We took the bus at 11 a.m. to Isolabella for the total circuit: blue, red, green. On the way back, the driver left us in Taormina with no possibility of getting off at Isolabella, apart from taking a municipal bus except that there was none. We returned on foot at the risk of being hit by a car, no sidewalk, very dangerous road for pedestrians. The explanations in French did not work on the bus, on the way back there was not enough room on the bus. A real disaster

Read the reviews! Buses are unreliable - they take your cash and refuse refunds even when no buses show for 1.5 hours!!! - We waited and waited for the bus to come, along with many others in our group - for a full one and a half hours - it didn't show. We all went back to the shop to try and get a refund. The company were really rude, and said once the cash is in the safe, it doesn't come out. Have a read of the reviews below - I wish i had :-( . If you value your hard-earned cash, avoid this company like the plague.

Cash stealing - Bus didn't show up, we waited for over an hour and there were people there before us that had been waiting. Went to try and get a refund from the office and an absolutely horrible 'lady' refused. Ended up having to call the police. Please don't bother with this awful place.

Do not use this terrible company - Do not use this company no bus wouldn't refund! Waited 1 hour 30 mins no bus. Walked to ticket office, very rude lady said due to traffic and we would have to use ticket another day, which we couldn't do due to other commitments. Have done other city tours elsewhere and all fine. Lost 35 euros. Absolutely awful experience 😢
