With a picnic lunch box, you will have a lunch break in the afternoon and then continue with your game drive as you depart. Our driver will take you back to your hotel or airport in the late afternoon.

The Tarangire National Park, ranked sixth in terms of size in Tanzania, eagerly awaits your visit on this economical day trip that begins in the early morning, including a delightful picnic lunch at the park. The park is renowned for its abundant elephant population, the iconic baobab trees and lions that are often seen climbing trees. The park is named after the Tarangire River, which winds its way through the park, providing the only water source for wildlife during the dry periods. You can also spot waterbucks, giraffes, and olive baboons frequently. The park boasts over 550 species of birds and its swamps serve as the main breeding grounds, attracting a diverse array of birds.
