ARUSHA TO TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK
Tarangire National Park - The journey begins with a drive to Tarangire National Park, celebrated for its diverse wildlife and iconic baobab trees. Upon entering the park, anticipate encountering large herds of elephants, graceful giraffes, and various antelope species. Relish a picnic lunch amidst the park’s breathtaking landscapes while exploring its picturesque scenery throughout the day. A knowledgeable guide will provide insights into the park’s habitat and animal behaviors. As the sun sets, return to your accommodation for a relaxing evening and a chance to reflect on the day’s wildlife encounters. Later in the afternoon, transportation will be provided to Suricata Boma Lodge for relaxation and preparation for the following day.
SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK
Serengeti National Park - Today promises to be a remarkable and significant travel day. Rise early to enjoy a hot and delicious breakfast before embarking on the dusty road trip to the Serengeti. Depart from the hotel in Ngedere, heading to one of Tanzania’s most iconic parks. This is arguably one of East Africa’s finest national parks, making today an exciting day. Along the way, enjoy the vastness of the territory and the raw beauty of the landscapes. You’ll pass through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, with a chance to view the Ngorongoro Crater before reaching the Serengeti entrance at Naabi Hill Gate. A warm meal will be served, followed by an afternoon game drive until sundown, when you’ll head to Seronera Public Camp for dinner and overnight stay. Visiting the great Serengeti National Park is always a wonderful experience, known for being Africa’s best national park, the great wildebeest migration, and endless plains.
SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK TO NGORONGORO HIGHLANDS
Serengeti National Park - Enjoy a full day starting with breakfast in the morning, followed by a safari adventure. Lunch will be provided, and another evening game drive will take place before returning to the camp for the night.
SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK TO NGORONGORO HIGHLANDS
Serengeti National Park - Experience a sunrise game drive after a simple warm breakfast around 6:00 am. Enjoy the beautiful sunrise game drive until late morning, around 10:00 am, when you’ll return to the campsite for a full hot and delicious breakfast. After breakfast, the game drive continues until the sun is high. Following a delightful picnic lunch, drive eastwards to explore another spectacular setting for Tanzania’s wildlife, the famous Ngorongoro Crater, at Ngorongoro Wild Camp for dinner and overnight stay.
NGORONGORO CRATER
Ngorongoro Crater - After a hot and delicious breakfast, a professional guide will be ready to pick you up from the lodge to start the game drive to the African Garden of Eden. The crater is renowned for its high concentration of fascinating animals. Witness more spectacular sights as your driver tracks down anything you missed before lunch. After an extensive game drive, enjoy a lunch break at Hippos Pool. Following lunch, leave the crater and drive back to Suricata Boma Lodge.
LAKE MANYARA NATIONAL PARK
Lake Manyara National Park - The small Lake Manyara National Park is home to over 400 bird species, primate-filled forests, and grassy plains. A significant portion of the park is covered by the alkaline Lake Manyara, which hosts colonies of flamingos and other water birds. Besides giraffes, hippos, wildebeests, and impalas on the grassy plains, you might spot lions lounging in the trees and elephants feeding on the acacias in the woodlands. The forest near the lake is filled with noisy troops of blue monkeys, while extended baboon families linger around the roads. After the game drive, return to Arusha in the late afternoon. Game viewing time: 5-6 hours.
