Arusha to Tarangire

Tarangire National Park - Guests will be collected from their Arusha hotel or Kilimanjaro/Arusha Airport for a 3-hour drive to Tarangire National Park. Enjoy a full-day game drive within the park, with a hot lunch served on-site. Later, proceed to Fanaka Lodge, Fig Tree, or Ngedere Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay. This national park is renowned for its large herds of up to 300 elephants searching the dry riverbed for alternative water sources, while nomadic wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, impala, gazelle, hartebeest, and eland gather at the shrinking lagoons. It boasts the highest concentration of wildlife outside the Serengeti ecosystem, offering a feast for predators. It is also the only place in Tanzania where dry-country antelope like the elegant fringe-eared oryx and the unique long-necked gerenuk are commonly seen. Additionally, it is the sole national park that hosts migratory animals during the dry season and welcomes various species back home.

Serengeti Park

Serengeti National Park - After a morning wake-up, enjoy a full breakfast, pack luggage into the safari jeep, and embark on an en-route game drive to Serengeti with lunch. Along the way, take in the stunning Rift Valley view of the Ngorongoro Crater. Arrival in Serengeti is expected between 1:00 pm and 3:00 pm. An evening game drive in Central Serengeti offers the chance to witness a breathtaking sunset. Dinner and an overnight stay will be at Seronera Campsite within Serengeti. The park’s main attractions include its vast plains and the spectacular Serengeti wildebeest migration, involving 1.5 million herbivores and the predators that follow them. These animals migrate across different areas of Serengeti due to drought conditions.

Central Serengeti Park

Serengeti Hippo Pool - Rise at 5:45 am for an early breakfast and sunrise viewing in Serengeti. After breakfast, embark on an early morning game drive until 11:30 am, then return to the campsite for a hot lunch. Pack belongings into the jeep and continue the game drive in Serengeti, heading towards Ngorongoro Crater at Simba Campsite for dinner and an overnight stay.

Ngorongoro Crater

Ngorongoro Crater - Wake up around 5:30 am for breakfast before descending to the Ngorongoro Crater floor, where all the Big Five can be observed. Various bird species and the black rhino are also present within the crater. Enjoy lunch inside the crater while appreciating nature and the high concentration of flamingos. After a 5 to 6-hour game drive on the crater floor, begin the ascent. Stop by the campsite to pack all luggage into the jeep, ready for the return drive to Arusha for an overnight stay or to Kilimanjaro/Arusha Airport.
