Exceptional Safari Experience - Exceptional once in a lifetime experience. Stacy made customizing and booking our trip easy, and our guide Msangi was nothing short of amazing. Every accommodation exceeded expectations, as did different wildlife sightings each day. I would highly recommend to anyone considering.

The Ngorongoro Crater is more than a destination - The Ngorongoro Crater is more than a destination; it's a profound natural experience. But experiencing it with friends transforms it into something truly extraordinary. It's a place that ignites wonder, fuels conversation, deepens bonds, and creates shared memories that will be recounted for years to come

Amazong 9 day safari Serengeti - Just finished our Duma/Alika Africa 9 day private tourof Tarangarie Park, Ngorongoro Crater and Central and Northern Serengeti with my son and finding it hard to process everything we have experienced. Stunning landscapes, huge skies, extraordinary density of wildlife and exciting nature action. Our guide Justin was incredibly skilful; using his extensive knowledge of animal behaviour to find animals (including rare rhino and leopard cub sightings), secure the best viewing spots and knowing when and where to wait for the action. Quickly noting my son's interest in the birdlife, Justin spotted and identified a huge variety of birds including a pair of eagle owls sharing breakfast. His own fascination with the wildlife shone through, we knew we were witnessing something special when Justin got his phone out to take pictures! Justin's attention to detail was meticulous, checking the camps knew we were veggie and providing a welcome cup of tea after picnic stops. The lodges and camps selected by Duma were all excellent, somehow providing a feeling of luxury in the middle of the wilderness. Food was consistently delicious and staff welcoming. No hesitation in recommending this trip. Massive thanks to Justin for making it so memorable.

Amazing safari experience kids and grandparents! - Wow! Our safari experience was incredible! We went for several days with our teenage sons and our parents (ages 76). Not only did we have a remarkable experience, but so did all 3 generations of our family. Stacy answered so many of our questions and really put her heart and soul into making this the best trip ever. Thank you!

AMAZING trip of a lifetime. We did not have to worry about a thing!! - Going to Africa is a life changing experience that I recommend to everyone at least once in their lifetime. For me, it was my first, and I fell in love! I have traveled all over the world with our kids, but this one was #1!!! Stacy, the owner of the outfit, is very easy and accommodating to work with. She customized the entire trip for my family of 2 adults, and three kids, ages 17, 15, and 10. Tanzania is safe and the people are so nice. Our guide, Ebenezer, stayed with us our entire 12-day trip and took us to Arusha National Park, Tarangire, Central Serengeti, and Northern Serengeti. Sadly, we missed Zanzibar, but that will be for next time. Ebenezer is a kind, humorous, knowledgable and very experienced local guide from Tanzania. He is extremely knowledgeable about the history of Africa (which I love), as well as the flora and fauna. His calm and steady presence worked well for our family of 5, since he has 4 kids of his own and understood the needs of our family. His multiple decades of doing tours really shines. We saw ALL the animals we wanted to see: serval, cheetahs, many lions, giraffes, zebras, Cape buffalo, jackals, hyenas, hippos, gazelles, impalas, crocs, and of course, The Great Migration. He is excellent and I highly recommend him. Stacy chose amazing tent accommodations, of which we got to experience 4 different camps. We were always well taken care of by Ebenezer and the entire staff. Since we have active teens, Stacy also set up activities for us. We participated in cultural Maasai dancing, biking through the villages, meeting different tribes, canoe safari, bush walk safari, the Olduvai Gorge, and a hot air balloon safari. Adding activities for the kids was engaging and allowed the kids to see and experience other cultural parts of Tanzania. All in all, I would definitely do this again! Ebenezer, Stacy, and I are already in discussions to plan my return next year for a gorilla trek in Rwanda and volunteering opportunities in Tanzania. Thank you Duma, for a fabulous trip! We were able to make some amazing family memories because of the Stacy's meticulous organizing and Ebenezer's excellent guiding.

A Truly Unforgettable Journey to Tanzania - My trip to Tanzania was truly incredible—an unforgettable experience that exceeded every expectation. From the moment I arrived, I was struck by the beauty of the landscapes, the richness of the culture, and the warmth of the people. What made this journey especially exceptional was my tour guide, Sifuni. He was supper knowledgeable, professional, and genuinely passionate about sharing the magic of his country. His insights into the wildlife, the ecosystems, and local traditions brought so much depth to every moment. I felt completely cared for and inspired throughout the entire trip. From witnessing lions in the Serengeti to the awe-inspiring views of the Ngorongoro Crater, every day felt like a once-in-a-lifetime adventure. The itinerary was thoughtfully planned, the accommodations were excellent, and everything ran seamlessly from start to finish. I can’t recommend this experience—and especially Sifuni—highly enough. Tanzania is a place that stays with you, and this trip will remain one of the most meaningful experiences of my life.

Justin is the GOAT! - The entire safari was wonderful but mostly because of Justin, our guide. Always calm, even when we had to change a tire and always humble (we told him he should brag about finding us 5 rhino but he would never be that way). We had so many fond memories and laughs with him. He has so much knowledge of every animal and knows where to look to find new things. We all were sad to say goodbye to him. Lucky for us when we returned from Zanzibar, we received an unplanned trip back to the airport with the him. If anyone is allowed to request a guide, please request Justin!! Oh, he also taught a lot of Swahili. My Swahili is terrible but not because of his efforts!

Beyond our wildest dreams. - Justin was our expert guide for 6 incredible days in Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro Caldera, and the Serengeti. His knowledge of the wildlife and trails was incredible. His driving was expert and careful, in no way reckless. Yes, we saw migrating wildebeests, zebras, elephants, black rhinos, hippos, cheetahs, baboons, warthogs, impalas, gazelles, velvet monkeys, hyenas, jackals and more! Justin was able to point out 57 varieties of birds, including the lilac breasted roller and the martial eagle, which was thrilling to us as novice birders. His kindness and appreciation of the environment made our highly anticipated trip exceed our dreams.

Great Guides - Duma Explorer helps us arrange our trip into Ngoronngoro Crater and hiking from Empakai to Lake Natron. Stacy’s responded quick to our questions. Justin was not only a great driver and seemed to anticipate the movement of animals so we could be in great position for viewing animals. Jamal’s positive energy and ability to cater to our vegetarian diet was appreciated. Would use Duma again without hesitation.
