Tarangire National Park to Serengeti National Park
Serengeti National Park - After breakfast, embark on a final game drive in Tarangire as you exit the park. Travel to Serengeti National Park, which is approximately a 5-hour drive from Tarangire. Upon arrival in the Serengeti, spend the rest of the day on a game drive en route to Kiota Camp. Commonly sighted species in the Serengeti include wildebeest, cheetahs, zebras, lions, giraffes, impalas, topis, and leopards. The Serengeti also boasts over 540 bird species.
Olduvai Gorge - Optionally, stop by Olduvai Gorge, a significant paleoanthropological site globally.

Ngorongoro Crater - Often referred to as the eighth wonder of the world, Ngorongoro Crater is the largest unbroken caldera globally and one of the few places in Africa where you can see all members of the “big five” (rhinoceros, lion, cape buffalo, leopard, and elephant) on a single game drive. Depart from Lions Paw after an early breakfast for a Crater game drive. After lunch on the Crater floor, return to Arusha.

To round out the five day tour, spend one day each in Ngorongoro Crater and Tarangire National Park. Ngorongoro Crater is the world’s largest intact caldera and provides a protected environment for the wildlife that lives inside it. Tarangire National Park is home to large herds of elephant as well as many bird, antelope and cat species. Tarangire’s wildlife is viewed against a backdrop of giant termite mounds and millennia-old baobab trees.
