Ngorongoro Conservation Area - Guests will leave Arusha at 5am to visit the Ngorongoro Crater, renowned for its outstanding safari experience due to the dense wildlife population in a compact area. Part of the expansive Ngorongoro Conservation Area, this unique ecosystem is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is managed to support human habitation while preserving the natural surroundings.
Upon arrival, guests will descend into the crater for an exhilarating game drive. This is one of the premier locations in Africa to observe the iconic Big Five. Ngorongoro also hosts a variety of other wildlife, including cheetahs, gazelles, zebras, and over 400 bird species, such as flamingos that might be spotted at Lake Magadi. Guests will enjoy lunch at the picnic site around 1pm before resuming their game drive in the afternoon to explore more of the crater’s diverse habitats and wildlife before leaving.
The tour concludes at the Crater at 4pm.
