Great experience - Our driver was very nice, picked us up and drove us around to both experiences. Our guide at the spice farm was extremely friendly making jokes, telling stories and asking for tips like everyone does around here. The Jozani forest was very interesting and exotic and we met a lot of monkeys.

This tour is completely worth it - Both destinations were nice and worth visiting. The spice tour was wonderful. Nice hike, very informative. Guide was extremely knowledgeable. And assistant made beautiful "jewelry" out of flowers and leaves.

An amazing experience - Amazing. I paid for a private tour as I wanted a more intimate experience. The day was great, from learning about and see the monkeys to the spices on the spice farm. I had a wonderful time. The guides were so informative and I learnt so much. I would highly recommend

Spicy tour 😅 - The spice tour with Zanziflowers Tours in Zanzibar was an absolute delight! The guide's extensive knowledge about each tree and spice was truly impressive. Their explanations were engaging and insightful, providing a deeper understanding of the region's rich spice heritage. It was fascinating to learn about the origins, uses, and benefits of various spices. This tour not only awakened my senses but also gave me a new appreciation for the flavors we often take for granted. Kudos to Zanziflowers Tours for offering such an educational and flavorful experience!

Spontaneous booking and well organized - Well organized lokal tour operator which is spontaneous and flexible. They arranged us the complete day to a fair price. Contact via whatsapp was possible. We thank Mr. Zanzibar for a great Day-Tour! Mario & Sonja

Great little tour - This half-day tour was one of our highlights while in Zanzibar. Unlike most of the tours, this one was led by a professional park ranger who was both knowledgeable and personable. As biologists ourselves we appreciated the level of knowledge about the ecosystems and plants and animals. Seeing the endemic monkey was special.

Exciting tour - It was very nice and Mata the guide was great. The only thing to complain about was that we were picked up 45 minutes late.

Very disappointing experience, fake guide - Not worth the money to go there. The tour was too short for what we paid. Only saw a few monkeys, most of which where high on the trees. The worst thing is that our guide seemed to be aware that there's not much to see and would go and give us useless information about voodoo people that turn into donkeys and this kind of bs on order to make the tour last a little longer.

If you value your life - don't take this tour - The spice farm visit was nice enough. But when we got to the Jozani Forest, things went horribly wrong. For reasons I will never know, my guide lead us off the trail and into a swamp. When conditions started getting bad, I protested and suggested that we turn around and go back. But my guide insisted that we continue forward. My mistake was assuming that this guy knew what he was doing and where he was going. He did not. Before I knew it, we were impossibly lost in the swamp, with mud and water sometimes up to my knees, jagged and thorny plants tearing at my skin, and fallen trees and branches to crawl over and under. Once my 'guide' admitted he was lost, I asked him to use his cell phone to call a park ranger for help but he refused and insisted that we keep moving, always telling me we were almost out of it. Hours passed. I was sweating so badly in the heat that I lost most of my body water. We had no water or food. I began to wonder if we would end up having to spend the night out there. Finally, the guide called for help and a ranger came and led us out. At the time we were headed in the wrong direction and would not have made it out otherwise. This 'guide' risked both of our lives and caused injures both mental and physical for no good reason. Absolutely the worst tour experience I've ever had.
