Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Tarangire National Park - Guests will be picked up from their Arusha hotel at 8:00 AM for a three-hour drive to Tarangire National Park. Enjoy a full day of game drives in the park before heading to Jambo Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay. Tarangire National Park is located 115 km from Arusha and spans an area of 2,800 square kilometers. The park is named after the Tarangire River, which attracts a variety of wildlife. Major attractions include large elephant populations, tree-climbing pythons, and baobab trees. Visitors can also spot lions, leopards, and other wildlife.

Tarangire to Serengeti

Serengeti National Park - After breakfast, the journey continues to Serengeti National Park, passing through the scenic highlands of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Descend into the heart of wild Africa, the Serengeti National Park, known for its vast plains stretching as far as the eye can see. The tour heads to the central park area, the Seronera area, which is one of the park’s richest wildlife habitats. The Seronera River provides a vital water source, attracting a diverse range of wildlife. Arrive in time for lunch and enjoy an afternoon game drive in the Serengeti until sunset.

Serengeti Wildebeest Migration Full Day Tour

Serengeti National Park - Start the day early with a full breakfast before embarking on a full-day game drive in the Serengeti. The driver will guide guests to key areas to witness the wildebeest migration. The Great Migration varies annually, with the best viewing opportunities from June to September, while calving occurs from January to March. From July to September, the driver will take guests to northern Serengeti to see the migration crossing the Mara River. Over a million wildebeest travel throughout the year in search of fresh grazing and water. After a full day of exploration, return to the accommodation for dinner and overnight.

Serengeti to Ngorongoro

Ngorongoro Conservation Area - Rise at 5:45 AM for an early breakfast and sunrise viewing in the Serengeti. After breakfast, enjoy a morning game drive until 11:30 AM, then return to the campsite for a hot lunch and pack belongings into the jeep. Continue the game drive in the Serengeti while heading to the Ngorongoro Crater, staying overnight at Simba Campsite.

Ngorongoro to Arusha

Ngorongoro Conservation Area - Early risers will be rewarded with stunning views of the sunrise over the crater’s edge. After a hearty breakfast, descend the adventurous track into the crater. This UNESCO World Heritage Site, one of Africa’s seven wonders, is a remarkable ecosystem formed millions of years ago by a volcanic explosion. The crater is 610 meters deep and covers approximately 260 square kilometers. With a dense animal population of around 25,000, it offers exceptional game viewing opportunities. Spot wildebeest, zebras, gazelles, elephants, and over 500 bird species. With luck, catch a glimpse of the endangered black rhino. After lunch, ascend the crater walls and head to Mto wa Mbu for a short tour.

Mto wa Mbu - In Mto wa Mbu village, guests will be welcomed by a local guide who is knowledgeable about the community’s social and economic aspects. There are many activities to choose from, and guests can maximize their experience. Be ready with a camera to capture memorable moments and feel free to ask questions, as the guide will be happy to answer them. The visit often starts in the village’s banana plantations, where over 30 banana species are grown. Later, drive to Arusha for an overnight stay.
