An into the wild experience - After the great communication and advice from Leonard Mkwavi we went with the family on safari for 6 wonderful days. For a budget trip everything is so well organized. With Patrick Nguya our driver and amazing professional gide we had the best experience and saw the big five and more. We had a real experience of sleeping close and into the wild. That was a unforgettable experience. Also food was great even traveling with vegetarians and lactose intolerance family members.

Unforgettable - Unforgettable experience! We relied on Meru Slopes Tours for our 6-day Safari between Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Tarangire and Lake Manyara. Everything was coordinated to perfection, thank you for this Almachius that with patience and availability has always responded promptly. Thanks to our guide Abraham and our chef Buga, the Safari proved even higher than expected, ask them if possible!! We recommend spending at least 1 or 2 nights in a tent in the Serengeti so you can literally feel the nature around you, something indescribable. Memorable experience that we will carry with us for life, thank you!

Just brilliant. I would do exactly that again and again! - 100% RECOMMENDATION!! I spent six days and five nights with Meru Slopes. It was just awesome. Our guide Patrik, our chef Johani and Almachius in the office gave me an unforgettable time. Patrik just knows everything about animals, plants and trees. He was able to answer every question, at the same time he mastered the bumpy slope in the national parks, looked out for animals and always took us to the next toilet stop on time ;-) We saw so many animals thanks to his expertise. In the Serengeti alone more than 50 lions including “kill” of a gazelle. The big five we had on the first day in the Serengeti after 2.5 hours full. Patrik is well connected to other jeeps via radio and has always had the right instinct for special animal observations. We were always in perfect position to observe the animals. It was indescribably great. Our chef Johani conjured up something fresh, delicious three times a day. Partly despite short nights of 3-4 hours. Just priceless. I'll miss his laughter. Meru Slopes attaches great importance to customer satisfaction, not sales. Most of them work with permanent employees. This makes a big difference in quality and Service, especially in peak season. I spent a day with another agency, which is why I have the settlement. 100% RECOMMENDATION for this great team.

Wonderful safari - easy to work with company - Went with a mate for a safari trip (6 days) and hiking Kilimanjaro. We really liked the safari - was well organised and got to see the big 5. Our safari guide Nuru was awesome and really passionate about his job - made the experience really fun when the guide is keen and looking out for the animals! Unfortunately we didn’t see the migration despite camping there for the full day - the wilder beasts didn’t seem to want to cross that day. We had a small hiccup on our hiking trip - we were supposed to have an overnight camp but the park rules changed and didn’t allow short camps. This was unfortunate and we didn’t find out until the gate but our guide worked with us to provide a very reasonable refund for the missed itenary - and provided alternative activities. Loved the experience overall - and shoutout to our guide organisers (Gift) and safari guide Nuru.

It far exceeded our expectations! - We have been on a 6-day safari in Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Lake Manyara. It's been an amazing experience. We decided to go with Meruslopes after a lot of searching on the internet. It's a Local Enterprise, which convinced us even more. Our guide Paul was very attentive to us for 6 days, making sure we could see, photograph and record the animals without being surrounded by other jeeps. I always found the best angle to see the animals and it was very persistent so that we could see as many species as possible. We saw more animals than we imagined. He also explained many things about the fauna, the culture of the country and the way of life. Gideon was our chef, the food was delicious and very hearty. He cooked us local specialties and adapted to our intolerances without problem. We would certainly repeat the experience with them. Healthy shelf Paul and Gideon!

Great experience! - We had a fantastic experience with Meru Slopes travelling as four friends. It was great value for money. Jerome organised everything to the detail and was always available to help. Our guide Asante did a fantastic job and made the difference for all of us. Food was plenty, tasty and diverse (thanks to Soulimani) and we had a nice walking tour with Prisca. We truly enjoyed our safari! Thanks a lot, we'd definitely recommend our friends to choose this agency.

Trip of a lifetime with Meru Slopes - What an amazing trip from start to finish. There are so many safari options in the area but one of our main reasons for picking the 6 day package was that it was one of the few that included a trip to Northern Serengeti to hopefully see the great migration. Meru Slopes had great reviews and it’s clear after our 6 days why they get great reviews. Gifti Tembu was our point of contact and was helpful and prompt in all communication. Our driver Jay Jay was great. He was a great driver, answered all our questions, made sure we had great views of animals and we felt safe at all times in the jeep. Gadi the chef was great. He catered for diertary requirements. The food was fresh, varied and tasty. Campsites were better than we thought. Tents were good and we were also provided with sleeping bags, mattresses and pillows. We really had the trip of a lifetime and Meru Slopes did not disappoint. I would highly recommend them.

Absolutely amazing service - We absolutely adored this trip. The staff were fantastic. We contacted Meru Slopes using whatapp initially and Gift Tembo helped us organise the trip of a lifetime. Nothing was too much to ask or adapt for us. The jeep was comfortable and clean. The Chef Gadi who travelled and fed us for the 6 days was great, we loved every meal and he catered for a gluten free person in our group in a way other chefs could learn from. Our driver JJ was safe and very helpful. The camping was comfortable as Meru provided mats and sleeping bags. The camp site facilities were better than we had expected. Thank you Gift, JJ and Gadi for the trip we will never forget. We saw so many animals and the driver was great to give us time to stay or move as the group pleased.

Amazing tour safari operator - This safari tours operator is amazing ! I have had one the most beautiful lifetime experience. Everything it’s been perfect. Since my first mail , Kelvin (manager) give me a lot of suggestion, advice, reply to all my mails with a professionals that it is rare today . Really thank you Kelvin . What can I say about Patrick and Yohana driver and cook respectively...really super. Patrick is a great driver , never miss a road and I really feel safe with him driving. He is also very very prepared about animals and all question that my collegues from India , England and me asked to him. We saw everything , big five , amazing wilderbeest migration , dozens of different animals...super ! About Yohana ? I swear that I have never eaten so well outside of Italy ! In 6 days of my safari , in every breakfast , lunch and dinner I have eaten something of different . Considering that we were in campsite this is unbelieveble ! What can I add ? Top Safari tour company, Great experience! - Wonderful experience with this company, easy to communicate with from the start, fair price, outstanding service and very flexible when arranging the tour. Picked up and welcomed by Fidelis, we were then accompanied by Nuru and Gadi. Nuru is a very skilled safari guide while Gadi is an exceptional cook. They made us feel at home throughout all the trip and we are thankful for that. I really recommend this company and particularly these guys!
