Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Tarangire National Park - Guests will be picked up from their Arusha hotel at 8:00 AM for a three-hour drive to Tarangire National Park. Enjoy a full day of game viewing in the park before heading to Jambo Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay. Tarangire National Park is located 115 km from Arusha and spans an area of 2,800 square kilometers. The park is named after the Tarangire River, which attracts a variety of wildlife. Major attractions include large elephant herds, tree-climbing pythons, and baobab trees. Visitors can also spot lions, leopards, and other wildlife.

Tarangire to Serengeti

Serengeti National Park - After a hearty breakfast, guests will pack their belongings into the safari jeep and embark on an en-route game drive to the Serengeti, enjoying lunch in the jeep. Along the way, take in the stunning views of the Rift Valley and Ngorongoro Crater, arriving in the Serengeti around 3:00 PM. An evening game drive in central Serengeti offers the chance to witness a breathtaking sunset, followed by dinner and an overnight stay at the Seronera campsite within the Serengeti.

Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater

Serengeti National Park - Rise early at 5:45 AM for breakfast and a sunrise view in the Serengeti. After breakfast, enjoy a morning game drive until 11:30 AM, then return to the campsite for a hot lunch and pack up. Continue the game drive in the Serengeti while heading to Ngorongoro Crater, where dinner and an overnight stay await at the Ngorongoro Simba campsite.

Ngorongoro Crater to Lake Manyara

Ngorongoro Crater - Wake up at 5:30 AM for breakfast, then descend to the Ngorongoro Crater floor to see the Big Five and various bird species, including the black rhino. Enjoy lunch inside the crater while observing nature and the high concentration of flamingos. After a 6 to 7-hour game drive, ascend from the crater and pack up at the campsite before heading to Marera View Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay. After the crater tour, experience a walking tour in Mto wa Mbu village to learn about local life, see banana plantations, and taste local cuisine.

Mto wa Mbu - Following the Ngorongoro visit, drive to Mto wa Mbu for a cultural tour. The village offers an active cultural program showcasing traditional life through various activities and community projects. Visitors can explore top spots, taste Tanzanian foods, and engage in authentic cultural interactions. Excellent walking, hiking, and biking tours are available, ranging from a few hours to a full day. In the afternoon, return to Jambo Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Lake Manyara to Arusha

Lake Manyara National Park - After breakfast, head to Lake Manyara for a full day of game viewing. Inside the park, observe tree-climbing lions and numerous flamingos drawn by the lake’s algae, and visit a hot spring. The same day, visit a Maasai boma to learn about their culture and traditions before returning to Arusha for dinner and an overnight stay.
