Arusha to Serengeti

Serengeti National Park - Guests will be picked up from their Arusha hotel at 7:30 am to begin the journey to Serengeti, which takes approximately 7 to 8 hours. Along the way, travelers can enjoy the stunning views of the Rift Valley and Ngorongoro Crater, arriving at Serengeti around 3:00 pm.

An evening game drive in central Serengeti will offer the opportunity to witness a breathtaking sunset. Dinner and overnight accommodations will be provided at the Seronera campsite within Serengeti.

Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater

Serengeti National Park - The day begins at 5:45 am with an early breakfast and a chance to see the sunrise in Serengeti. After breakfast, an early morning game drive will continue until 11:30 am, followed by a return to the campsite for a hot lunch and packing. Serengeti National Park boasts the highest concentration of large mammals globally, ensuring sightings of giraffes, elephants, hippos, and lions. Over 500 bird species, including ostriches and flamingos, can also be observed. The driver will strive to cover the main areas in central Serengeti.

After lunch, the journey continues with a game drive towards Ngorongoro Crater, where dinner and overnight accommodations will be at Simba campsite.

Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha

Ngorongoro Crater - The day starts at 5:30 am with breakfast, followed by a descent to the Ngorongoro Crater floor. Here, visitors can see the “Big Five” and various bird species, including the black rhino. Lunch will be enjoyed inside the crater amidst nature and a high concentration of flamingos. The crater is home to over 6,000 wildebeest, 4,000 black-spotted hyenas, 2,000 zebras, 2,000 elands, 3,000 gazelles, 200 elephants, over 30 lions, 30 black rhinos, and many smaller animals like kobs, antelopes, jackals, hippos, and diverse bird species. This renowned African attraction is the world’s largest inactive, unbroken, and unfilled volcanic caldera, formed approximately two and a half million years ago.

After 6 to 7 hours of enjoying the game drive on the crater floor, the ascent from the crater begins, leading back to Arusha.
