Mikumi national park is considered the 4th largest park in Tanzania. It has a lot of game animals including buffalos, lions, elephants, giraffes, zebra, hippos, crocodiles, gazelles, baboons, leopards and many more.
The drive takes about 6 hours, giving you an authentic view of Africa as you journey through local towns such as Kibaha, and Morogoro. On arrival in Mikumi, check in to the lodge, refresh and enjoy a hot lunch. Afterwards you will go to the park gates for afternoon game drives in Mikumi national park.
Dinner and overnight accommodation will be at Camp Bastian lodge outside the gates of the national park.

Mikumi is a beautiful national park which was established in 1964. It is accessible from the commercial capital Dar-es-salaam where international flight connections are abundant.
Udzungwa national mountain park is an amazing experience. The habitats contained within the national park include tropical rainforest, mountain forest, miombo woodland, grassland and steppe. Here you can hike and also swim at the waterfalls.
The drive from Mikumi to Udzungwa is undertaken inside the national parks, so travelers can enjoy seeing animals on the side of the road, especially Giraffes, Zebras, and Gazelles but also lions and herds of elephants and buffalos.
