interesting tour - Our guide, Said, was extremely knowledgeable about the history & the area of Tangier. We really enjoyed driving & seeing the countryside as well as the "old" & "new" city. He suggested a good local restaurant so we could get a taste of authentic Moroccan food & it was spot on. He took his time in answering our questions. Would definitely recommend him as a tour guide.

Fabulous tour of Tangier - We were lucky to be the only people on this tour with Mohammed , the driver and Magid , our tour guide. They personalized our trip to include a trip to the wine store and the American Legation. We highly recommend this tour!

Gracious Guide and a View Into A Vibrant Community. - I cannot express enough how wonderful it was to have Mr. Abderrahman Taidi as a guide. Anyone familiar with the area could have walked us from place to place and shared general knowledge but Mr. Taidi showed us a glimpse of the sense of community the neighborhoods in Tangier share. It didn't take me very long to notice the regard he is given by the people on the streets (so very, very many people!) or how he looks out for them in return. We visited The Kasbah of Tangier Museum of Mediterranean Cultures and then made our way into the Kasbah and to the marketplace itself. During this we had the opportunity to see a community bakery, the fountains that support the neighborhoods, and a myraid of twisting streets that led through various markets. Everything from tailors, to grocers, herbalists, home decor... I looked at my progress that my watch tracked and while we stayed in a relatively small area what we saw will take some time to process in my mind. As a parent, I appreciate the patience that was shown to my son. This trip was his first outside of the US and he had some trepidation when we arrived but that seems to have eased up considerably with Mr. Taidi's patience and easygoing nature. My son enjoyed his conversations with him so much that we decided to stick with him as our guide for tomorrow, too. If it isn't obvious to readers already, I think that they will do well in getting in contact/requesting Mr. Taidi by name. As for the company that provided him to us as a guide, I can only say that I appreciate their willingness to provide a ride to get us and to return us to our hotel. If the rest of their guides are as gracious as ours, they are a good company indeed.

Tangier Morocco - The guide Mohamed was very knowledgeable and easy to deal with. That made the tour so much more pleasurable. It’s not an easy place to find your way around so spend the money on a guide. It’s worth so much more!!!

Would do it again, minus the shopping part - I booked this trip because it had various options for pick up time, and it fit perfectly in our schedule for a 4pm tour after our arrival to Tangier at 3pm. Our guide was very informative, and answered many of our complex and sometimes stupid questions kindly about history and culture of Morocco and Tangier. The only thing I didn’t enjoy so much about the tour is the shopping part. We were taken to a family co-op artisan shop and while the guide was not pushy at all, the seller was pushy and took out like 20 rugs under the guise of telling us about the culture and techniques involved in rug making, then pretty much guilt tripped us into buy something. This is the culture of guided tours everywhere and well expected, but it was really hard to walk out of there without purchasing a rug. I’m the kind of traveler who WILL spend good money on something that I absolutely love, but I feel that I was coerced to purchase a rug that I didn’t need and wasn’t entirely in love with. I didn’t want to spend more time picking out something that is perfect, and by the 20th rug, it got quite pushy and they were already packaging a rug that I only said maybe to. Information and convenience wise, absolutely a wonderful tour. I’d do it again, minus the shopping. I dare say that This tour is not for people who are not comfortable walking away with a sense of guilt because you might go home with a buyers regret.

Private tour - The tour wasn't private. We shared it with another couple, even though I confirmed private. They were told the same thing. The guide was very knowledgeable and generous with his time. He took us to too many "special" shops in the kasbah that were over priced. If you ask him to give you private time he will do that. Overall a good value
