Morocco trip - Said was a really good tour guide, very nice and helpful , lovely kind man and very informative made the experience even better

Fabulous tour guide for 8 hrs in Morocco - We had one day to spend in Morocco and decided to try to visit two cities. We joined an 8-hr group tour for Tetouan and Tangier, so we could see as much as possible! We totally lucked out with our amazing tour guide, Mejdoubi Said. He was knowledgeable, informative, easy to understand, and very well prepared. His approach to the region was very inclusive, compassionate, and globally informed. We took advantage of his expertise by staying at the front of the group and asking questions! Often, when a tour involves a long bus ride, it can feel like wasted time. Mejdoubi, however, used the time to explain the history and development of the country and showed us things that we would have never seen or appreciated without taking this trip. Most of our day was spent in Tetouan. Mejdoubi took us to an art school where students were actively learning to do traditional tile and wood work, which is plentiful and gorgeous in the region! We walked through the kasbah, by the King’s Palace, Jewish quarter, and to a carpet store (of course!). When a rug salesman became overly aggressive after I showed interest, Mejdoubi came to my rescue! There were many guards in Tetouan because the King was visiting the region. Mejdoubi took the extra precaution of arranging additional support (a policeman and an extra guide at the back of the group) to keep our group together and to ensure our safety. When we heading back to Tangier, we had a late lunch (about 3pm!) at a 5-star restaurant. The food was quite good but not as interesting or plentiful as we had experienced on other tours. We then walked through the steep (downhill) kasbah where Mejdoubi continued to explain the region and ended at the foot of the town’s fortified Citadel. It was a memorable tour that I wish was longer! If we return to Morocco, I would seek out Mejdoubi for a private tour so we could learn even more from this wonderful native Moroccan.

Tangiers is gorgeous - Wow, didn't realise Tangiers was so gorgeous and the history wonderfully and interestingly explained by our tour guide. Was on a cruise would loved to have spent longer.

Awesome Tour - Excellent tour - very entertaining!! Tour guide was wonderful, full of knowledge, and funny! I would highly recommend!
