Additional Information

With a private trip, you secure an exclusive chauffeur proficient in Spanish, English, and French. The group will be limited to your significant other, family or pals. If you’re traveling in a larger group, you’ll save cash! Additionally, a local guide will accompany you in Chafchaouen. Commence your journey from your Tangier lodging in a cool, air-conditioned vehicle, travelling southeast to Chefchaouen, tucked in the Rif Mountains’ wild terrains. Founded in 1471 by Moulay Ali Ben Moussa Ben Rached El Alami who established a kasbah, Chefchaouen is renowned for its blue-washed medina, earning the moniker ‘Blue Pearl’. The blue tones stem from the 15th century when the city became a refuge for Spanish exiles. Jews fleeing the Spanish Inquisition painted their abodes blue as a sign of their holiness, a practice that endured through the ages. Upon your arrival, a local guide will welcome you and lead the amble around Chafchaouen before concluding the trip and returning to your Tangier hotel.

Must experience while in Morocco - Unbelievable experience. If i could give it 10 stars I would.. We were delighted with our private driver from Tangier to Chafchuen. He even stopped at a nice place for traditional moroccan mint tea. Once we got to Chafchuen we were greeted with our private tour guide who was so friendly. Took all of our family photos. Introduced us to local artists, shared the rich history of the city and arranged a private lunch for us. Our driver met us when the tour was done and took us back to the ferry.

Fantastic tour, best price on the internet - Went to visit Chefchaouen with my brother and we found these guys on Viator. Of all the tours we looked at this was by far the best price! Said the driver was on time, very friendly and the car was comfortable. He was a funny guy cracking some jokes on the journey 😄. When we got there we were taken on a tour by Abdelghfour. He was very knowledgeable and showed us all the best places. I liked that he took us to the restaurant that we requested instead of insisting on taking us to the one he recommended. His English was good. Very happy overall with the tour. One small thing I would say he could maybe improve is that he walked a little bit quickly sometimes!

The best family trip with the "great" Said - Totally recommended, the visit was great and the guide was very professional, in addition to being accompanied at all times by the "great" Said, with whom we spent wonderful days in different cities. Our children say that this is the most surprising trip and that they liked it the most, and surely a large part of it is thanks to Said, who has made it very easy, interesting and very very fun for us.

Incredible Said, charming and a great professional. 100% RECOMMENDED. - A magnificent excursion. The landscapes and the city are beautiful, but even better is the attention from Said, who organized a perfect itinerary for us to Fez, Chafchuen and Tangier, and from the guides who accompanied us in each city. In Chafchuen, Abdu made the visit very interesting and fun. Without a doubt we would love to repeat the experience with all of them. Thank you very much to all.

Dreams can come true - It was along time dream to see Chefchaouen, the young man who met us , and became our guide (sorry I can’t remember his name,) has lived there most of his life and knew the city. He knew the history of the city, where to take us for the best picture taking, and met our many challenge's. I was looking for a particular crafts man who worked with metal filigree, that I saw on TV 10 years ago. The very last shop that he could think of after asking other shop owners for possibilities , found it and there I met Omar the man I had watched preform his magic using tool from century’s ago. I bought 6 traditional Moroccan tea glasses that sit inside the filigreed holders. Our young guide if you can find his name from Viator is well worth trying to get. One note to the wise, there are many many stairs of varying sizes if you were not in shape when you started you will be when you are finished.

It was okay - The drive down back to Tangier was picturesque. For the price the guide just did a quick tour because of having a child and stroller. Didn't really get to view Chefchouanne from a height but all in all it was an okay experience.
