Wonderful experience! - This was a great experience! Anwar picked us up from our hotel and we walked through the Medina to their family house. We were greeted by his sweet, happy mother and we began preparing Tajine right away with her help! We talked about all things food and Moroccan culture then after about an hour of cooking, the food was ready and we had such a feast! Anwar’s family was very welcoming and we had a wonderful dinner! Afterward, we went through the Medina for a tour of food and spices. Overall, a great experience!

Excellent experience - Very good experience with Anwar's family who welcomed us like kings. We went to the market then cooked with Anwar's mother chicken tagine, fish tagine and chicken skewer, all excellent. We were also treated to a typical and delicious breakfast. I thank them and wish them the best for the future.

A great time - We had a great time seeing the food market and cooking with Anwar's family! We made Moroccan salad, chicken and olive tagine, and kebabs. The sweets and breakfast foods with mint tea were a delicious treat while the food was cooking!

Amazing food and great hospitality!! - We had an awesome market tour and food class with Anwar and his family. First we toured the food market and saw spices, fruits, vegetables, and meats. After the market tour, we were invited in to Anwar’s home for the food class. We learned how to prepare a chicken Tajine, had delicious Mint tea, Moroccan sweets and traditional Ramadan breakfast. Then we made Moroccan barbecue with kefta, beef, and chicken. The food was so delicious and we learned a lot about the spices and preparation methods for the food. Anwar and his family were amazing hosts and made us feel so welcome! We definitely recommend you book with them to learn about Moroccan food and culture!

Cooking Fun as a Family - We had a great time touring the food market before arriving at Anwar's home to cook. We met his mother and brother. We chopped vegetables for Moroccan salad, prepared the chicken tagine, and grilled kebabs! We had delicious Ramadan breakfast, traditional sweets, bread, goat cheese, and mint tea while the food cooked. Anwar and his family were very kind and hospitable. Our 9 year old had a good time and enjoyed the amazing food. We recommend their cooking experience!

Not really a cookery course - We had a nice time with Anwar and his family. They were very hospitable and were very kind to our son. We got to try some Moroccan sweets and Anwars mum cooked 2 types of tagine. We were hoping to actually cook some food and learn about the ingredients in Moroccan food which this trip did not provide. We went to the market but were given no information whilst there. We prepared some vegetables in Anwars living room but did not get to cook anything or even enter the kitchen. Anwar sadly didn't know the English names for the spices and herbs so we still don't know how to make the food we ate. I think £52 pp was too much for this trip.
