- 3099 1st St N - You will start with a lesson on how to properly handle the equipment. You will then paddle for 2 hours in Coffee Pot Bayou to Bird Island and view 30 different species of birds up close in their natural habitat. Your tour guide will be sharing the local wildlife as you float along side gorgeous and historic homes and enjoying the vast architectural styles. With some luck you will also be viewing some manatees and dolphins!
You will be meeting at Coffee Pot Bayou Park 3099 1st St N 33701, free parking. Tour includes tour guide, 10’
6” soft top paddle board, life jacket and bottle water.

SUP Joy - I try to squeeze in some SUP wherever I travel if possible, so was delighted to find Doo’s tour on Viator. Although we didn’t see any dolphins this day, Bird Island was amazing and I enjoyed seeing neighborhoods from the water. She did a great job navigating us around, was prepared with water for us to drink as it was July, and took some great pics for me. Would definitely recommend.

Great Experience - Doo was so great! She was very knowledgeable about the plant and animal life as well as the local history. We booked our tour last minute, the night before, and are so glad we did. Doo was very accommodating when we got there with sunscreen and water for us and was willing to hold things like our phones and car keys, as well as waterproof phone holders. She also took lots of pictures for us! None of this was necessarily included, but she went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. Highly recommend!

Fantastic time on the water! - This was the first time my sister and I had been on a paddle board. Louisa was fantastic and patient with us. We had an amazing time paddling around the preserve area. We saw numerous species of birds and even some dolphins. Highly recommend this experience.

Incredible paddleboard tour! - This was our first time paddleboarding and we had an amazing time! Our guide was helpful, kind, patient, and knowledgeable. Paddleboarding was much easier than we expected, and our guide was flexible with how and where we wanted to paddle. We saw a dolphin and a ton of different birds at Bird Island, and even got to go out to the bay. This was the perfect first paddleboarding experience as well as a great tour for seasoned paddlers. Highly recommend and definitely worth it!

Paddle board tour with my Granddaughter! - What a fabulous day with Louisa (Doo)! Such a warm personality. She made sure we were comfortable on our boards before heading out. Very knowledgeable not only about the paddle boarding area (birds, vegetation, fish, manatees and dolphins), but also about St. Petersburg in general. I feel very confident in not only booking another tour, but also recommending her to friends and family.

Perfect morning with the birds - What a great way to spend the morning and the beginning of our vacation. Loved bird island! Louisa was super knowledgeable of the area and all the wild life. Relaxing pace and a great workout. I’d recommend this to anyone who needs a break from the beach.

Relaxing - Tour guide did a phenomenal job taking care of us and giving us noobies the time/pointers necessary to be successful. It was an overall relaxing, pleasurable experience and would recommend to others -Definitely plan around the peak hear hours however.

The Best Part of Our Trip! - Louisa is an excellent paddleboard instructor and guide. She is knowledgeable in all manner of local flora and fauna, so it was educational as well! We were fortunate to encounter a devil ray, many manatees and scores of birds on bird island. The paddleboard trip was easily the most enjoyable outing of our vacation. Would absolutely recommend Doos to anyone and everyone! Thanks Louisa!

Fun Day on Paddle Boards! - I got this as a gift for my dad’s birthday and it was so much fun! Doo was incredibly knowledgeable about our local ecosystems and we had a great time highly recommend we even saw manatees!
