Highlights
  • County of Pinellas Boat Ramp - Our tour guides will take you down mangrove shorelines in shallow calm waters searching for sea-life and sea-birds with our high powered LED illuminated underwater lights. Some of the highlights of the tour is feeding the fish which is fun for everyone and also paddling into the mangrove canal! The fish will follow our kayaks and get so close you can even touch them! You may also see crabs, shrimp & other sea-life as we illuminate the waters around us. Sometimes we’ll even see Dolphins and Manatees at different parts of our tour site. With literally nothing to do at night in Water Sports, our Glass Bottom Kayak LED illuminated Night Tours are perfect for families, friends, large groups, or an unforgettable date night under the stars! Our kayaks are very stable and similar to a canoe so water does not come in through vent holes so you can wear full clothing with shoes in the summer and even stay warm in the winter by wearing jeans and jackets!

Additional Information

Participating in the Glass Bottom LED illuminated Fish Feeding Night tours by Sharkey’s using our transparent-bottomed kayaks is a wonderful adventure. Our tour guides navigate through serene shallow water channels under a star-studded sky. They direct your attention to a variety of naval creatures including different species of fish, shrimp, crabs, and conch shells, all beautifully highlighted by our strong custom underwater LED lights. Our path traverses through a nature reserve complete with mangrove embankments and waterways, often offering glimpses of wild occupants such as Raccoons. Sightings of manatees and dolphins are also frequent in our tours. One of the high points of our kayak trips is the fish feeding event at a specified location in the route, a thrilling activity for all participants. Must book experience - Our family had a great time. It was definitely something new for a Florida vacay. Highly recommend. Easy to book, easy to find and low maintenance preparation. Our guides were amazing knowledgeable and sent plenty of information for beginners!

Just Do It! - The guides are very cool and knowledgeable! The launch was easy and the yaks are easy to paddle around. There were many fish seen on our tour. Cruising theu the mangroves was quite an experience. The fish feeding was fun, actually the whole experience was super fun! Glad I had a ziplock for my phone.

Fun! Tour company should have been more prepared - It was an enjoyable experience but a little frustrating. We paid for a party of 13 (over a month ago) and it's like they were not ready for us. There wasn't enough paddles and we were told we needed to bring a plastic bag for our phones in a plastic bag to "listen to the audio call from the tour guide" there was no such thing and most in our group couldn't hear anything. It was a nice different experience but when paying over $700 for an hour and the guides not being prepared it was a little frustrating.

Night time fish feeding - It was very fun outing and the fish definitely came up to the kayaks when they were fed. It would have been nice to have another 5 or so minutes with the fish feed. It was cut a little short. Our guide was very nice and had great explanations for the surrounding environment.

Was alright. - Guy giving the tour was great conversation aside from that it was just regular kayaking, same as I do back home. Could've rented a kayak and looked at mangroves and fish alone.
