Crystal River is home to a plethora of wildlife, headlined by our resident manatee population that lives in the Bay year-round. In search of manatees, osprey, egrets, herons and all the other wildlife that lives inside our refuge! Your US Coast Guard Certified Captain will lead you in an informative, fun and peaceful journey throughout the waters of King’s Bay. He will be sure to show the variety that King’s Bay has to offer. Pristine spring-fed residential waters and undeveloped wetlands are the backdrop of your trip through King’s Bay. The tour ends where it began, back at Pete’s Pier Marina.

We meet our guests at Pete's Pier bait and tackle shop on the main floating dock at Pete's Pier Marina. You will be greeted by your captain and your party will be brought to our boat which is moored nearby.

Personalized Eco Tour - We loved our private Eco tour. The smaller boat allowed us to get an up close view of the manatees without disturbing them. We also got to see lots of other wildlife and birds and our guide was able to answer all our questions. We definitely recommend going private!

Friendly accommodating staff, friendly accommodating Sea Cows - We had a very special day getting to snorkel with the most gentle, enormous creatures we've ever experienced. Experiencing manatees in the wild was enchanting and magical. Evan and Hina were very accommodating to our trip needs to make sure we could fit this memory into our trip. It was awesome.

Private Manatee Tour - We did a private tour and our guide was Evan. Evan was knowledgeable and took us up close to as many manatee as he could. He even shared the history of the Bay. We all had a great time and would highly recommend both this tour company and Evan as a guide.

Everything Was Great - My husband, dog, and I had a great time with Hina and Jake. We started early and found a group of manatees within five minutes and had some time alone with them before the other boats started to arrive. Hina and Jake were easy-going and knowledgeable. Hina got some great photos in the water and Jake served up some very welcome hot chocolate on board. It was a cool experience floating around with these gentle giants, and I appreciate that our guides respected the animals and made sure we did not disturb them while still getting to see them up close. We were also very happy to find a dog-friendly option via the private tour.

What a Fabulous Tour! - Absolutely fabulous custom tour with a very knowledgeable guide. We saw a lot of manatees as well as other wildlife. Would highly recommend this group.

Awesome Manatee Viewing - We had an amazing time! The staff at the office were very helpful and got us set up with Captain Jake. He showed us tons of manatees and was very knowledgeable about the local area. If we ever come back to Crystal River, we are going to go out with Nature's Discovery!

Great time - We had a great time. the staff was friendly, helpful and had our safety and enjoyment in mind from the beginning to the end. We had 3 young kids with us and the staff was sure they were comfortable and had a good experience. Hina was our guide, she was great.
