Beautiful experience in dades - We had a great hike with Asin in the Monkey Fingers Canyons. The loop lasts about 1h30, with impressive scenery along the way. After the hike, Asin took us to a beautiful wild gorge, perfect for cooling off and swimming — a magical moment in nature! I highly recommend this hike to anyone passing through the area. Do not hesitate to contact Asin to organize an outing, he knows the place perfectly

Met Abdou wandelen Monkey Fingers - Abdou was our fantastic guide who, as a 69-year-old, easily helped me over the most difficult points by pulling me up or saying exactly where to place my foot. He knows the region inside out. Beautiful views. Breathtaking, a 'must' if you come close. Abdou then took us to an excellent family restaurant with very good and balanced spiced food. Was a highlight on our trip! Thank you Abdou, you deserve to accompany many people.

Wonderful guide, beautiful hike (a little challenging) - This is great. We met at the cafe in the listing, the man there was super nice (gave us a spare backpack, I only had a tote bag). Our guide, Mehdi, was terrific. Super knowledgeable. Also helped over the challenging rocks. I would recommend bringing your hiking boots, not trainers. Some parts over the rocks are very steep - the rock formation is like mountainous terrain. Highly recommend doing this. Great photos, too!

Must do - We were accompanied by Zakari in the canyon for a 4 hour loop. This hike is absolutely necessary to discover the canyon from the inside. It’s surprising and beautiful. Some technical passages where you have to use your hands or crawl on a meter but nothing complicated. It is accessible if you are used to walking. Zakari made sure to take the most secure routes (I advise against doing it solo as some branches can lead to complex or even dangerous crossings and there is no marking on the hike). When we reached the end of the canyon, our guide left us the alternative of going back or climbing the steep hill of the canyon to discover a plateau where a family of Berber nomads lives and then returning by a quiet path to recover. We chose the latter option and yes the hill is steep so watch out for the thighs and cardio. But once at the top the panorama over the canyon is breathtaking and we were able to have tea in the nomads’ habitat, a cave. A unique moment. In short this hike is absolutely to be done and thanks to Zakari our guide who made this moment pleasant in addition to informing us about Berber culture.

Lahcen, a 5-star guide - Great experience with our guide Lahcen Ourfi. I contacted him the day before by whatsapp: +212 677-657053 We agreed to take a 3h ride and were 3 in total. Lahcen knows the area by heart which is reassuring to venture into the canyon and speaks perfect French. He gave us a word of explanation about all the plants we crossed and as well as the types of rocks and more generally about local habits. I recommend without hesitation, very nice human encounter.

Mehdi your fantastic guide. - Fantastic experience with the man who absorbs languages like dry soil absorbs rain. Such a nice, clever and friendly guy who speaks fluently English, Marrocan-Arrabic, French and in our case Dutch. And maybe I forgot some. He also knows the trails well an was able to adapt the activty based on our fitness level. The walk was beautifull and extra interesting because of all the facts and details that were described by Mehdi. Also really easy in communication in advance of the activity. And it was nice to have a guide that is also interested in his guests. So it was a great experience.

Hiking in an phantastic landscape - Monkey Fingers - with Abdou - Hiking in an phantastic landscape with Abdou - Monkey fingers Varied, interesting hiking with Abdou in the phantastic mountains, in the garden, with amazing views. Afterwards a visit in the Family House from Abdou. Abdou is a friendly, careful guide, who knows a lot of this area and the people. The nature is so beautiful, the people so friendly and helpful, that I decided to stay a little bit longer. It was a wonderful time in the Family House of Abdou and his wife Fatima. I enjoed every day delicious breakfast and dinner. We talked and laughed a lot. I feel very comfortable, like a part of the friendly, amusing family. A friendly comfy home - like in the past. And, of course, it was wonderful to see - from time to time - what happens in Ait Arbi. Special, what happens with the Family from Abdou - since my last / first visit - 30 years ago. Excellent hike with Mehdi - Mehdi was an amazing guide, who definitely loves his job! We helped him improving his Dutch as he learned us some Arabic words! Altogether a great day!
