Highlights

ON THE WAY TO PUERTO MALDONADO / GET THERE BEFORE NOON

Puerto Maldonado - Guests are received at the airport and taken to the office, where you will be able to repack and leave in storage anything that you will not need on this part of your trip. We then continue on to the port, from which we will embark on an hour and forty five minutes boat ride to Explorer’s Inn.
During this journey guests will receive a boxed lunch.

Upon arrival guests will be greeted by the Resident Manager, who will give useful recommendations and information to ensure an enjoyable stay. After a rest, our naturalist guide will take you to The Tower (42 meters high) to overview the Rainforest.

Return to Lodge and see the Sunset Point.
Dinner.
We board our boat to start the nighttime search of caymans in the Tambopata River. Our naturalist guide uses a spotlight in order to locate them on the banks of the river, so that we can observe them from a respectable distance, then return to the Lodge to sleep.
