Family surfing! - Andric and Gustavo were excellent instructors and very patient with our family. Would recommend them to anybody and we will be going back to them very soon.

Exactly what I wanted-a solid, private surf lesson - Was exactly what I signed up for. Jose, my instructor, was kind and patient. Recommend using these guys, for sure. Was easy to book and easy to find them.

10/10 definitely recommend, wont regret. - Sophie here, my husband booked a surf lession with these guys for me.. mind you..I never surfed in my life before... and this was very memorable experience. Guatavo, the one who taught my lesson, was amazing at keeping me calm. Safe. Confident even though I had no prioir experience. Read me like a book in the first 2 minutes of meeting. He was very calm and chill which helped when it came to taking the lesson into the beach. Prior to lesson in the beach. They provided a rash guard as well. Didnt make me feel pressured throughtout. Always asking ans making sure if im okay. Very experienced surfer. 10yrs+ ! If you have fear that you wont be able to do it.. don't. He will have your back and definitely at the end of the lesson you will know how to ride the wave! I would 100% recommend these guys! At the end of the lesson, i was suprised with a fresh coconut. + water for refreshment. Definitely recommend these guys!

Laying so much pipe I'm called "The Plumber" - All in all I had a great experience with the actual surf lesson. Joshua was awesome and very detailed. Joshua stepped in for a "no show" instructor. I try to be understanding because even though the person who was supposed to meet me at 6 am never showed, I try to imagine reasons instead of getting angry. I was waiting on the beach with no instructor in sight and no response from the text I sent back to the number that I received the day before for confirmation. So finally Joshua finally came over and gave me an update. A bit later he came over with the surfboards and it was game on. I understand that some folks who provide services in Tamarindo don't live there and some don't have the same access to transportation that I do. I learned to keep things loose while in Costa Rica and err on the side of consideration. So I'll let that slide and I comment about the tardiness because it's important to have realistic expectations.

Too expensive for what you get - The instructors were all very nice and welcoming. Though the lesson itself was not of any extraordinary quality, it was more of an opportunity to get some practice in rather than a lesson. Moreover, the lesson ended up being only an hour and I think that 50 dollars was a little much to pay.
