My 1st time surfing and... - My 1st time surfing and was able to ride a few nice waves!! Great experience with great crew of instructors! Highly recommend!

Surf Tamarindo - We had a blast learning to surf. Jason was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. My fiancé had never been on a surfboard and he hard her standing and catching waves in 5 minutes. Such a great experience and highly recommended!

Must do! - Amazing time. Im so not very athletic and had low expectations but the instructors were all great and i was killing it by the end. Would definitely recommend!

EASY, FUN AND ACCESSIBLE SURFING - Easy to set up, great lesson, and my son loved it! He got up as promised, and he did so well, considering it was his first time! Fun and helpful instructors! Would definitely recommend

Amazing experience! - Highly recommend! The instructors were highly educated, very helpful and spoke English very well. My friends and myself were able to stand up and ride the waves into shore within minuets after our lesson. They were able to differentiate our skill levels and teach us based on what we needed to progress on making it enjoyable for all skill levels. We got some great photos for a great price and had an all around amazing time. This was the highlight of all of our trip. -Joel Tulloch

Amazing experience, highly recommend! - My husband and I had a surf lesson with La Muda back in November 2023 and we really enjoyed our experience, so much so that we ended up getting 3 more lessons for our kids (11, 14) when we came back in March. All the lessons were fantastic. Our kids absolutely loved their surf sessions and Bryan did an amazing job teaching them. Both kids were up every single wave and felt super safe and comfortable. They even ended up trying out some of the bigger waves by their third lesson. The pics Carlos took while the kids were surfing were amazing, definitely recommend checking those out too! We will absolutely return to La Muda when we come back to Tamarindo next time. Thanks Isabella, Carlos, Jeison, and Bryan! Pura Vida!

So much fun - La muda surf school was a blast...Carmen and Isabelle were fantastic...next time I'm in Tamarindo I will definitely take another lesson So much fun!!

Must do in Tamarindo! - Such an amazing experience! Jilberto was an amazing teacher and had us standing in on the board super early into the class. It was super personalized and we got a lot of attention to help us move at our own pace. Definitely recommend!

This was a great... - This was a great experience. We all loved it!! We were all first time surfers and we all got up many times. They made the experience really fun and doable, I would definitely do it again with them. They were terrific teachers and coaches!!

Great crew! - My family of 5 (kids 16,14 &10) had a great surf experience. Two instructors were in the water for our party of 5. Crew was knowledgable, enthusiastic and kept us all safe. I would recommend. Tip: don't forget to sunscreen the back of your legs and swim shorts are better than bikini bottoms. Salt/sand and getting on the board caused chaffing.
