Awesome day tour! - Our guide, Jose Murillo, was the best! He was a wealth of knowledge of just about everything Costa Rica. For the waterfall portion of the trip, we stopped and looked at all of the cool plants and animals, from monkeys to toucans and more things than I can remember. And the waterfall itself was beautiful. The "hike" itself was super easy. The stairs to the waterfall being the only thing that required any real effort. At the sloth sanctuary we saw tree frogs, lizards, tons of cool birds, and of course sloths. Jose enthusiastically pointed out (with a laser pointer) what each thing was and explained a little bit about them. I think he may have been having as much fun as us! I can't say enough about how great the day was. We had so much fun at the first two venues, we didn't even make it to the coffee tour. We ran out of day! I would highly recommend doing this tour with this company. Ask for Jose!

Rio Celeste, Sloth, Coffee, & Chocolate Tour - This tour exceed our expectations! Our tour guide, Jose, was the best! He was so dedicated to making our day beyond amazing & he did just that! He taught us many different things about Costa Rica during our drive to the Parque Nacional Volcan Tenorio. When we got to our destination, he was so knowledgeable about everything in the rainforest & he took the time to stop & explain & let us enjoy all aspects. Throughout the entire day, Jose took many photos on his phone of us & everything we encountered & when the day was done, he sent us what he took. His photos were exceptional! Diego was our tour guide driver for the entire day. He did an excellent job getting us to & from every destination safely! They also took us to breakfast & lunch, which were both delicious! After the rainforest, we went to a sanctuary that was filled with snakes, frogs, sloths, birds, & many other things. The tour guide there, Fatima, (along with Jose) were both amazing & knowledgeable about all the creatures & plant life within. We proceeded to a coffee & chocolate tour where, Richard was beyond amazing! Today was one of the best days ever & we had an experience that will never be forgotten! A big thanks to 506 Tours for this amazing private tour! You outdid yourselves! This tour is a must! You won't regret it!

A special day around Guanacaste - José made this an absolutely wonderful trip! From the very beginning, he shared his depth of knowledge on both the adventures for our day and Costa Rica overall. He, and our driver whose name I misplaced, went out of their way to make us feel at ease and well taken care of with snacks, drinks and great conversation. It was a beautiful day exploring the rain forest, falls and nature preserve. I think we everything I could have imagined (from tree frogs to toucans) outside of a pink elephant (I know from our conversations that José would have found one). We fully recommend this tour, and this company, to make your trip to Costa Rica complete!

Costa Rica highlights in a day - Jose was great. Rio Celeste was amazing. The hike was a beautiful walk under the canopy of trees. We saw monkeys and birds, flowers and an amazing wasp nest. The sloth sanctuary was spectacular. We were fortunate to see a sloth down low. Two tapirs, bats, frogs, toucan and more. The grounds are beautiful and the staff wants you see all the amazing sights around you. Wonderful lunch and Jose talked to us about modern Costa Rica as well as ancient. Great day.

The best CR experience - Jose was our guide and let me know this man has so much knowledge I feel like I learnt so much about CR I’m just one day. Fantastic unique facts accompanied by so much wildlife sightings. Just an unforgettable experience. Make sure you ask for Jose M!

Excellent time! - Daniel was such a great guide! Super knowledgeable about the flora and fauna as well as Costa Rica generally. He was lovely to my 5 year old as well and made sure it was fun for him. Would 10/10 recommend!

Costa Rica wildlife adventure! - Excellent tour itinerary, guide, and driver. The trip had it all: countryside, national park, waterfalls, great lunch, soo much wildlife, and someone to explain the stories and facts behind it all. This was particularly a good trip for a large family of varying ages, from 7 to 73. We would highly recommend it.

La Pura Vida indeed! - Our family had an incredibly fun, active snd memorable time on this trip. Our guide, Don Alex, was friendly, accommodating, and very knowledgeable. From the time he picked us up from our hotel, he was pointing out landmarks and telling us about the planta, animals, and culture of Costa Rica. The hike through the jungle of Parque Nacional Volcán Tenorio to the Rio Celeste waterfall was breathtaking, figuratively and literally (the 250 steps back up was a good workout). Our next stop at the Sloth Sanctuary was equally memorable. I was ama add at our guide’s ability to spot sloths and other perfectly camouflaged animals, including a bright yellow eyelash pit viper resting on top of a 8 foot plant, and a tiny hog nosed pit viper hidden perfectly in the detritus of a dead tree. Of course, the kids and the whole family were overjoyed to get within touching distance of the cutest three toed sloth. Such a wonderful adventure and a beautiful lifelong memory!
