Highlights
- Huacas - After a convenient hotel pick up (if you book the tour with transportation), at the 506 Transfers & Tours office we will give you a tour explanation to ensure you have fun and to address any possible doubts you may have, we take you on a test ride. This way, you will become familiar with the vehicle and the terrain. Once your training ride is concluded, and all your comfortable and ready, you’ll start your tour.
Important: We will take you on routes that are appropriate for your driving skills and preferences which always include beaches and mountains.
- Playa Mina - We will visit at least 2 beaches which will depend on your driving skills. Also crossing rivers, and up and down hills. Off the road all the time. Join us on this Tamarindo ATV & Buggy Excursion, the best way to experience Costa Rica in a truly unique way!

THIS A FULL PRIVATE TOUR, to discover secluded beaches on an off-roading adventure that takes you off the main road through mountains and rivers to explore parts of the region that are only accessible by all-terrain-vehicles. Independent travelers can choose their own ATV and experience the excitement of driving, while couples or families with kids can choose a 2 or 4 Seater BUGGY or a double ATV as well (driver + passenger) and ride together.
Important: If you are an adult and want to go as a passenger on a Double ATV, select option KID. Minimum for a Tour to run is 2 ATVs or 1 Buggy

The best thing we did on our vacation - Best experience ever. Had a great time. Our guide instructor was so nice. Eugilio I think that was his name. Was so nice and patient. He made the experience so chill and fun. We had a blast. Glad we chose this company for our experience.

Fun ride to 2 beaches - A really great experience and a wonderful guide. We stopped at 2 different beaches and had ample time to explore the sand and the caves. The guide even found us some howler monkeys

Awesome ATV adventure near Tamarindo! - We had an amazing time on our ATV tour. Our guide Tavo Made it a very fun experience and took us to several beautiful beaches. Everyone was very nice and the tour itself had a good mix of slightly rougher terrain/dirt roads. We learned some fun facts about the area, the beaches, and Costa Rican culture along the way. Thank you Tavo and 506!

Fantastic morning - and very kind owner! - We had a really fun morning, visiting three remote, secluded and gorgeous beaches. Swam and waded to the small island and saw the bat cave. Lovely countryside and back roads. The best part: I dropped our rental motorbike in the hotel parking lot - slight damage to the foot peg and cowling. The owner refunded my damage deposit in full. I thanked him for his kindness and generosity. A very tidy and well run operation.

ATV Costa Rica is Fabulous!! - FABULOUS ATV Experience through the neighborhoods, farms and beaches of Costa Rica!! Professional business with high end equipment. Very friendly service! Our guide was Hilmar and he was absolutely wonderful to our family as we rode the dirt roads and the beaches! Calm instruction as we went! Amazing experience! 5 stars! ⭐️

Fun ride, nice guide, well maintained machines. Highly recommend. - Really attentive guide. Atvs were in good shape...there was someone cleaning them the whole time we were there. The beaches were so beautiful. Second beach was our favorite in costa rica. First beach we bought smoothies. My wife had a watermelon smoothie and it was amazing. It was simply frozen watermelon blended. On a 97 degree day...oh my God did it taste good.
The trip was also great. Stayed on a dirt road most of the way. Some water to drive through and hills. Fun ride.

Not super fun. - Guide was super nice and knowledgeable! I thought the trip was kind of boring though. Basically you’re just driving down dirt roads and getting dust all over you. Visited a couple of beaches that were pretty though.

Too dusty - The pictures are misleading and false if you enjoy just driving on dirt roads and getting covered and suckling up dust then this is for you, other than that the tour guide and the equipment was good. Dont recommend.
