Selvatura - HANGING BRIDGE:
Ascend into the rain forest canopy for a peaceful hike along a series of hanging bridges that criss-cross different levels of this incredibly rich ecosystem. Follow the 1.9-mile (3-km) trail at your own pace, stopping to admire the aerial views and catch sight of native plant and animal life along the way. With a comfortable width of 5 feet and a capacity of 80 people each, these are the widest bridges in Costa Rica, as well as the longest and strongest in Monteverde. This system consists of eight bridges ranging in length from 150-510 feet (50-170 meters) and in height from 36-180 feet (12-60 meters) above the forest floor. Expect the circuit to take between 1.5 and 2 hours to complete, depending on your preferred pace. Suitable for all ages, the hanging bridges canopy tour is an immersive yet relaxed way to experience Monteverde’s marvelous cloud forest. -
Butterfly Garden at Selvatura Park - HUMMINGBIRD GARDEN:
At our hummingbird garden, our visitors will observe more than 14 different species of hummingbirds including a few species that are not commonly seen in the Pacific side of the continental division of Monteverde. At our garden the relaxing ambiance and with beautiful natural floral arrangements provide a perfect setting for natural photography lovers. The hummingbird garden is also a perfect rest or picnic area.
- Selvatura - ZIPLINING:
Our tour is the only zip-line tour built entirely inside the cloud forest. In this tour, visitors cross through the unique cloud forest canopy suspended over the forest while attached to high weight-capacity cables and using the specialized climbing gear. This provides wonderful experience and sensations only comparable to flying through the forest. This tour not only combines the thrill of one of Costa Rica’s most safe and popular adventures, but also provides a unique vantage point of the cloud forest which in the past was reserved only to certain scientists brave enough to climb up to the forest canopy.
The Canopy Tour features 13 cables, including a 1 km cable, 15 platforms and one Tarzan Swing. There is a total of 2.2 miles of total cable length.

The vegetation in the cloud forest is especially captivating because so much of it can only be found in this cool, tropical climate.
