Great opportunity to travel on the Baltic Sea in comfort! - It was very convenient to purchase the ferry tickets through Viator. The process of exchanging the redemption voucher for the actual tickets was somewhat confusing. The ticket agent at the ferry seemed annoyed when I showed her the voucher but luckily she fulfilled the tickets. The ferry itself was awesome! Very clean with great food choices and lots of room to find seating. The ferry left 15 minutes early from port on both the trip to Helsinki and the trip back to Tallinn so be sure to show up an hour early for boarding! They wait for no one! I would recommend this experience for sure.

Arrive in plenty of time - We booked a trip on Megastar from Tallinn to Helsinki via the 'Direct Ferries' app 10.30am ...easy to use and then all you need to do is check in at the port with the reference and PIN emailed to you. - all very well signed once you get to the port....ferry crossing was fab and the ship was extremly clean with plenty of facilities...*** A warning though!..as I had read previous, we arrived in plenty of time as you need to check in 45 minutes before you board...we boarded at 9.50 as scheduled BUT we left at 10.15...fifteen minutes early!!..make sure you leave plenty of time to board..we are so glad we heeded previous advice !!

Excellent - Amazing journey, food, drinks and service 🫶 would highly recommend thus service to anyone who is visiting Tallinn. Helsinki is a beautiful city just like Tallinn but the two cultures are so evidently different! Food is superb, especially in Tallinn. Happy travels! 😊

To Tallinn! Luxurious and fun. - We took the Silja MS/Megastar over to Tallinn, Estonia early in the morning and came back on the last trip that night. The ship was beautiful, clean, had fine dining delights, information and Tallinn cards available at the information desk. Wonderful Duty Free shop right on board. Best way to get to Tallinn in just 2 hours from Helsinki!

Great experience - The ferry takes you from Tallinn to Helsinki in two hours for approximately 30 €. What a great experience. Clean, fast, efficient. There are several restaurants on board, one with buffet food. Had a great day, definitely worth it.

Not bad, could have been better. - Trip to Helsinki was fabulous but on the way back to Tallinn it was overbooked, people sitting on the stairs, unfortunately I was unable to get anywhere to sit on the way back and had to sit outside in -16 weather!!!

Problem, danger, not helped - On December 28th at 10:30 p.m. I was on a trip on the Helsinki-Tallinn route. Before the ship departed, I realized that I had left my backpack in the Helsinki port in front of the main entrance to the ship. The woman at the information desk said that she would not call the Helsinki port to clarify my identity because everyone there had already finished work (even though it was 5 minutes after the ship departed). She gave me a phone number and said that I should call there myself early in the morning. 1 There was no hands-free announcement on the ship that someone had forgotten the bag. 2 The woman at the information desk did not help me 3 In the Helsinki port, the police were not even called to check the bag for the risk of explosion 4 My friends from Germany reached the port themselves and the cleaner answered the call and confirmed that such a bag was there. (This means that everyone had access to the bag) 5 I missed my morning bus ride to another city because after three hours of sleep I had to return to Helsinki to pick up my bag. What does it mean that I bought another expensive ticket. I want to say thank you to this cleaner for answering us and calming me down a bit. But the behavior and reaction to this woman's problem on the ship and the port staff is simply inhuman. And also the possible risks due to an unidentified bag did not interest anyone in this port of Helsinki and clarifying the identity of the owner. I will write about this everywhere and demand compensation for my moral damage. On 28.12 22:30pm in the evening I made a trip on the Helsinki-Tallinn route. Before the departure of the ship, I realized that I had forgotten my backpack in the Helsinki port, in front of the main entrance of the ship. I will write about it everywhere and demand compensation for my moral damage. On 28.12 at 22:30 I took the train to the Helsingborg-Tallinn route. Before turning off the ship, I realized that my backpack was in Port Helsingborg before the main entrance to the ship. The woman on the phone said that she did not appear in the Helsingborg port, that she should take my eyes off me because everything was already ears (though that was only 5 minutes later). shipwreck). She gave me the phone number and said that I myself had learned the lesson over and over again. 1 There were no small reports on the ship about how the bag had been stolen. 2 According to the information, my wife did not help me 3 The police did not even come to Port Helsingborg to check the bag for security reasons 4 My friends from Germany are the same came to the port, and the cleaner answered the call and realized that there was such a bag there. (This means that access to the bag was possible at any time) 5 I took a long train ride on a bus to another city, as if I were going to turn around in Helsingborg, which pack your bag after three hours of sleep. What this means is that I have all bought a new road ticket. I had to tell the hotel manager quite clearly that he had ignored us and completely ignored me. But the presentation and reaction to the problem of these women on the ship and in the port was completely beeless. And even the possible risks, presented with an unidentified bag, were of no interest to Helsingborg, and the disappointment of the judges was also felt. I write about this miracle and the necessary compensation for my moral superiority.
