  • Aleksander Nevski Katedraali - The domes of the Cathedral offer one of the best views of the Old Town. The cathedral is one of the highest points of Vyshgorod (High city) and not a single panoramic postcard of the Old Town can do without its silhouette.
The tour will acquaint you with the history of the construction of this majestic pre-revolutionary church.
This is the only church in the world where the works of one of the most talented architects and icon painters of the 20th century, Novoskoltsev, have been preserved, with his personal signature on part of the icons of the iconostasis.
The Cathedral also have a unique icon donated by the Imperial family for the consecration of the church.

Wonderful building - Russian orthodox church which is well worth visiting, free admittance too. No photos allowed inside and quite chaotic as it is one of the main attractions when visiting Talinn.

Best Cathedral in Estonia - Beautiful cathedral in the Old Town of Tallinn. The exterior is reminiscent of a mini Kremlin with bulbous towers. This is the finest cathedral in Estonia in my opinion. You can also enter the cathedral for free but pictures are not allowed.
