Enjoy a canoe ride with a professional guide. Our guides have many years of paddling experience and a wealth of information regarding the local history and nature. As we traverse shaded inlets, we’ll delve into the distinctive culture and ecosystem of the Southern Appalachian foothills. Meanwhile, be on the lookout for local fauna. We often spot bald eagles, osprey, and water-dwelling turtles. Once in a while, we even catch sight of a bear!

Access the Foothills Parkway from Walland, TN or Wears Valley, TN. Take the Foothills Parkway southwestward towards US Highway 129. When the parkway ends at Highway 129, make a right turn. The boat launch is on your left in 5.6 miles. The guide will meet you there.
