Take in the majesty of Bangkok’s skyline aboard The River Star Princess Cruise along the Chao Phraya River. Embark on a romantic two-hour voyage with us to see the Grand Palace, Wat Arun (Temple of Dawn), and the Rama IX suspension bridge whilst savoring our three-course meal of Thai and International fare, all while soaking in the soothing Thai classical dance performance. Post-dinner, choose to let loose on our disco club within the ship, bringing great music to your ears, or immerse yourself in the ancient wonders illuminated under the moonlight.

Great Experience - A great experience in Bangkok. The boat itself was clean and had high standards. Staff were friendly, buffet was great. The traditional Thai entertainment was great. The singing wasn’t the best I’ve heard but overall still a great night.

Highly recommended cruise - Very good experience and well organized. We chose this cruise as it was located opposite iconsiam. It takes 2 mins by ferry to get to. The cruises from iconsiam were too full n the queues were so long. We got the best table on the upperdeck and the selection of sushi n food was amazing.

Nice thoughtful attention to our diet ! - Taking care of our vegetarian diet was excellent - quantity was a lot and we could not finish but having such attention to our request was great. Only item that could have been is telling us that we had to exchange our online ticket with a paper ticket at the counter near pier 1 - we had to go around a few times and accidentally found the desk which took care of us

Nice tour, but missed the sites we expected. - The tour was nice, the food was decent, and the entertainment was fantastic, however I expected more from a site-seeing perspective — for example, we only saw the grand palace and Wat Arun from a distance, we did not actually sail past then as we had expected. For the most part, we seemed to travel aimlessly up and down the river, which left me feeling a bit disappointed.

Culturally-enriching - The boat trip was a wonderful experience. I traveled solo. A photograph is taken with one of the boat crew before you embark (they perform a traditional dance mid-cruise) and you have the option or purchasing framed for 200 Bhat at the end. My cruise was at night which I recommend because it is cooler, more relaxing, and the temples on the riverbank are breathtaking lit up (Viator would not allow me to upload the amazing photos). A nice drink awaits you at your table. The dinner is Buffet and I would stay not good quality compared with Thai food (think 4/10; like a low quality US Buffet style). Cost of alcohol is not transparent (I was presented with a menu of a six pack of beer for a price which I obviously won't take a single person). I asked for one beer and received a bill at the end--I think 200 Bhat. There is a traditional Thai dance mid-cruise, a band plays all the way through and they even celebrated a 25 year wedding anniversary for a guest and allowed him to sing karaoke. Lovely crew and staff. Overall, the price was about right for the experience.

Nice Evening Cruise With Family - We took a mid-week cruise with three small children and grandparents. Staff was friendly and boarding location was well-marked and easy to locate. Food offering was broad and well-stocked. Would recommend doing a day-tour of the City, followed by this cruise, as it gives a nice perspective of sites.
