Fun day! - Very interesting to see these markets and we stopped by the salt fields which I liked too. The market is crazy and some areas are a little fishy but it is part of the experience! Guide was good and spoke clearly. It was a long day but we had a very comfortable van and stopped plenty of times to see stuff or get a drink. Would recommend this, especially for the cost!

Great tour - Great your! Our guide (I think his name was Tom) was amazing. The time to shop on the train tracks is very short and the stuff have great prices. I 100% recommend the tour!

Excellent guide - Our guide Mr. Aekaphol was great! He conducted the tour and took care of us and when my wife and I had to catch a flight, he helped communicated our situation to the taxi driver.

A great day trip! - We loved riding the train to the market and then seeing it take off from the station and how all the vendors have to prepare. Very entertaining! Also we really enjoyed the floating market.

Nice experience - A nice unique tour that I would recommend. Its about 2 hours drive from Bangkok so by time you return its about 3-3:30 pm depending on traffic. The train market was cool and one of those unique things you see as well as the boat tour was nice. I do recommend it ..

Great, but be prepared for what you're signing up for! - I think this is a really great tour. As a solo traveler, I felt safe the entire time, my guide was great and very knowledgeable about the markets. There was no pressure to buy anything extra and experiencing both markets was a lot of fun! You don't get a whole lot of time at each stop as some of the other reviews have mentioned, but frankly it's HOT and crowded, so more limited time was really a blessing. I don't think this is a reflection of the tour and the company that runs the tour, but I did want to share that you really need to be prepared for what you're signing up for. The markets are a great experience, but it is HOT. The tour company does transport you by bus which has air conditioning, but for those experiencing Bangkok weather for the first time, it can be a hard adjustment. It's also important to note that the train that takes you to the first market is NOT air conditioned, so wear light layers, drink plenty of water, and be aware of your surroundings. The tour company does provide one bottle of water per participant, but plan to bring more along with sunscreen.

Poor guide - Hours in a bus for not much except a tour guide rushing us. Floating market is really just a tourist trap Train is pretty different Unless you’ve got spare time don’t bother. Maybe a better company would have better guides

7.5 hour trip (10 min of market shopping) - It does not mention that it is a 2h 15m drive from some locations. The drive plus a train ride (which was great) together, took 4 hours. It was 4 hours before we reached the train market. Then we were told we’re not actually going to shop there, just walk through VERY quickly. I had to hold my 4 year old because he couldn’t keep up with the pace. Then we took the same original van to the floating market. The floating market was amazing. After, we were walked to a restaurant area and told we should eat there and that we are meeting up to go home in 30-45 min. So we ate and had about 10 min to shop. We got dropped off at 4 pm. So the “half day” was actually 7.5 hours for us and 10 minutes were actual shopping. We were trying to stay positive but others in our group were expressing similar concerns. Would not go again nor recommend. The markets are great though. Just don’t take this tour to get there.

Thailand.... BIG NO THANK YOU - I just came from Thailand after 4 months we went there with the idea to move there and after 4 months is a BIG REAL NO Thank you If you are a normal middle-class people in North America, you will NEVER move to Thailand for me even vacations for free after 4 months I WILL SAY NO... it is ONLY REAL very good ONLY for BACKPACKS eat for $2 to $5 but if you want drink an Express in Bangkok prepper to pay the same price you pay in North America $3.30 =130Bath If you cook at home and you need to buy Olive oil 1L cost you $22.50 =600 Bat, if you go to western kind of food like a Lazanha in a restaurant you will pay $28, if you buy ANYTHING imported because you are use to it at your country you will pay the big price and I don’t talk about NOTHING luxury normal things to eat, you want buy local food is less expensive like clothes but they are really VERY BAD Street food is constant DANGER to eat special sea food it is so HOT and the food e exposed to this eat all day…. Good luck POLLUTION at the top of this World, Garbage in every corner VERY POOR people Drugs everywhere, prostitution OMG and this people here ONLY talk about beautiful things and beaches Example Ao Nang the 2 km beaches are surrounded by 3 OPEN SWERS like rivers ALL GO to the beaches, boats everywhere I saw so many westerners there swimming but I never saw one Thai person…It is the ONLY country I know people go to the beaches “fighting” for a shadow because it is REAL TO HOT you can’t stay on the Sun Also be VERY CAREFULLY for the STARS at the Hotels in Thailand they are normally FAKE only the hotels with REAL brand names you know Traffic be VERY CAREFULLY also when you walk in Thailand, they DON’T respect anybody on the CROSSWALK VERY DANGEROUS The visas… What a SCAM it is, starting with me at Ottawa embassy they charge me Cad $56, for each me and my wife they NEVER delivery and they refused to refund me when you have a CROCKED king, don’t thinking the embassy be better... CONCLUSION: EXTREMELY GOOD FOR BACKPACK PEOPLE VERY GOOD AND DISGUSTING FOR OLD PEOPLE LOOK FOR YONG GIRLS EXTREMELY BAD FOR NORMAL PEOPLE WITH A MEDIUM TO HIGH STANDARDS
