Best activity in Tokyo - Best event we experienced on our trip to Japan. Staff were kind, friendly, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic. We learned so much about Japanese culture and practices. Wearing kimonos, preparing sweet treats and tea were not just activities to do but reflected time honoured traditions that were treated with reverence and respect. We cannot speak highly enough about this experience. A must activity in Tokyo!

Great Experience - This was such a great experience. Maikoya is very tourist-friendly and honestly I was worried that they wouldn't have kimonos that would fit me but they did! It was so fun to choose your Kimono, Obi, and hair accessory. They also offer to take your pictures if you ask. There's a lot of photo opportunities. The instructor was very kind and and friendly. The tea and wagashi tasted so good!

Cool experience to learn about traditions. - This experience was very impressive and a great value. We were able to be dressed in kimonos, learned how to make Japanese sweets, and learned how to make tea. We also got to experience a tea ceremony. Would absolutely recommend this to others. Educational and a cool experience.

All that and more ! - This event was suggested to me by another tourist and let me just say that it is everything she said it would be and more. I expected a ceremony making Japanese sweets. What I received was an amazing fitting for a kimono, a cute little hairstyle, amazing pictures, wonderful friendly staff, and the opportunity to wear the kimono around Asakusa for a few hours. This was a great tea ceremony with a thorough explanation of the history of ceremonies. We made Japanese sweets that were beautiful and scrumptious! I highly recommend this event, you will not regret it!

Cancelled without any reason. - The tour company canceled less than 24 hours without any explanation and still charged my card more than the full price.Very disappointing and frustrating.I do not recommend this company at all.
