Great Tour with Guide Takako - We were a large group with many children but our guide Takako was great! She guided us through the subway despite it being our first time and helped with technical issues with our subway cards. She accommodated our requests so well of what we wanted to do and recommended the best hidden little ramen shop in the area! Overall, she was the best guide we could of asked for and we would 100% book again!

Wonderful Walking Tour in Tokyo - Sam our guide met us at our hotel in Ginza and we proceeded to the train station to the National Museum where he walked us through the museum explaining the various exhibits. We then proceeded to the Senso-ji Buddhist Temple in Asakusa. These activities were experienced in the pouring rain! Sam then took us to the Itoya stationery store which was amazing. Afterwards he directed us to a lovely place for lunch. Sam was a delightful guide and extremely knowledgeable in his field who communicated in excellent English. We would highly recommend Sam for a walking tour if you are visiting Tokyo.

Taku was a great guide for first timers in Japan! - Taku did a great job! He was very communicative before the tour occurred, he helped plan all the must see things for first timers visiting Japan. He made our first morning in Japan easy, and was very informative in teaching us along the way. He was patient and made sure we hit every stop with adequate time. We highly recommend Taku!

Give a tour guide the reigns - We met Katsu Hayama “Goreilo” for a four hour tour of the city. We were staying in Asakusa, where Goreilo picked us up at our hotel. He helped us buy tickets for the subway and explained the whole system. It was such a pleasure to allow him to take the lead and enjoy all the sights. A few weeks before our trip, Goreilo contacted me and came up with a wonderful itinerary to see highlights of the area. He was very respectful and kind. We had a wonderful time learning from him.

A tranquil tour with a wonderful guide, Kay - I enjoyed a wonderful morning with Kay, exploring a custom itinerary of tranquil gardens, shrines and temples and old-town Japan streets. Kay is very knowledgeable but she’s also a lot of fun, and it was such a great introduction to Tokyo, like walking around with a friend. I would highly recommend this tour, and especially Kay!

A fun four hours in Tokyo! - Our 4-Hour Private Tour of Tokyo with Fumiko was one of the highlights of our trip. Fumiko was a wonderful guide—warm, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about sharing the beauty and culture of Tokyo. In only four hours, she helped us experience a great variety of places at a comfortable pace. We began at Nezu Shrine, which was such a peaceful and beautiful introduction to Tokyo’s history. Walking through the rows of vermilion torii gates felt magical, and Fumiko shared fascinating stories about the shrine and its traditions that we never would have known on our own. Next we explored Asakusa and the iconic Sensoji Temple. Seeing the temple, the Five-Story Pagoda, and the lively streets around Nakamise was unforgettable. Fumiko expertly guided us through the area, pointing out cultural details, local snacks. To finish, we headed to Shibuya Scramble Crossing, which was the perfect contrast to the historic sites. Watching the famous crossing come alive with thousands of people moving in every direction was incredible, and Fumiko made sure we had the best vantage point for photos and the full Tokyo experience. What made the tour truly special was Fumiko herself. She was thoughtful, flexible, and attentive, making the tour feel very personal. Her explanations were clear and engaging. If you only have a short time in Tokyo, this tour is an incredible way to see both the traditional and modern sides of the city. We left feeling like we had truly experienced Tokyo, not just visited it. Highly recommended—and thank you, Fumiko, for such a memorable and wonderful tour!
