Must do activity - What a great experience to learn about the Japanese culture and history. Very welcoming and although I was concerned about the dressing part of this activity being a plus size person the ladies were wonderful and fitted my kimono with much care. Would absolutely recommend.

Wonderful introduction to tea - This was a good basic introduction to the tea ceremony. Minnie was welcoming and created a very soothing atmosphere for having tea. She made a particular effort to include our son in the experience. There was a good range of kimonos available to wear. There was several tea ceremonies at the same time, so we could overhear some noise from the next room, but this did not spoil our enjoyment of the experience.

Excellent addition to a trip - Should absolutely do this in Tokyo. This place is not far from the Senso-ji. They dress you up in some beautiful Kimonos and teach you so many things about the tea, the room, the history and how to drink it.

Excellent experience - We had such a great time. My teenage son even got into it. It was well put together, it was informative, and very well put together. I enjoyed going through the process of putting on the kimono and all that comes with it. Met also some great people from all over the world, so that was an added bonus. All and all I would recommend this to everyone.

Awesome Kimono and Tea experience at Tokyo - We were at the Kimono Tea Ceremony Maikoya in Tokyo on March 19th 2024. We were 2 adults traveling with our teenage daugher. We absolutely enjoyed the experience. It was very well organized and our hostess explained the process in detail. She gave us a history of Tea ceremony and the spirituality associated with it. The kimono experience was also very well done. Will highly recommend.

Must do when visiting Japan! - This was such a wonderful experience. They take the time to carefully wrap you in your kimono and even do your hair. The tea ceremony was lovely and very informative and the instructor was wonderful. Even got to take pictures afterwards in our kimonos for memories! Highly highly recommend!

Great experience - Lovely staff from start to finish. A moment suspended in the midst of Tokyo fervor. Nice choice of kimonos, we get dressed and done. Then tea ceremony Then we can take a photo of ourselves in the garden.
