This cooking class starts with a visit to a local supermarket frequented by Japanese locals. Enjoy shopping, while learning about the distinct characteristics of Japanese supermarkets and how locals choose their ingredients, guided by a local expert. After gathering our ingredients, we will head to the cooking class apartments to begin the culinary experience.

Develop traditional home-style cooking skills, including precise knife techniques and crafting dashimaki tamago. Receive a recipe for Japanese dishes, perfect for hosting a home party back in your own country. Ask questions during the class for a personalized cooking experience tailored to your needs.

Excellent time was had by all - A very well organised time and we really enjoyed the variety of visiting a local supermarket as well as the cooking. Also being able to ask questions about Tokyo life.

A must do!!! - Our experience was perfect from start to finish! Honda was an absolute pleasure and such a wonderful teacher!! You must sign up for sushi making with magical trip when you come to Japan!

Fantastic experience! - So much fun! A very knowledgeable and personalized experience. We had a great time with our guide, Taka, super friendly and helpful! We loved getting to learn while making all of the delicious food. Highly recommend! Would definitely do again!

Awesome class! - Such a fun class! Fuji was a fantastic instructor, and we really enjoyed cooking with her. We learned a lot from the market visit, and the cooking element of the class was both informative and easy to follow. It was a great time, and a highlight of our trip!

Amazing class with friendly teachers - We really enjoyed our class with Fuji and Taka! They showed us how to choose ingredients at a Japanese supermarket, and gave really clear instructions about how to cook some delicious sushi and side dishes. They were very friendly and went above and beyond answering our questions not only about cooking, but also about Japan more generally. We had a lot of fun and would definitely recommend this class!

A very special and pleasant culinary experience. - Mihori's cooking class was excellent. His culinary knowledge and explanations were very good and clear because the methodology he uses makes it very easy to understand. His studio, where the practice is done, is very well set up with furniture and all the utensils to make the recipes. Mihori's English is also very good. The market where we bought the very typical Japanese ingredients gives a good idea of Japanese food customs.
