Fantastic Tour - We had a wonderful family tour with our fated tour guide Sam. Sam customised our tour to ensure all members of our family were engaged. Sam went above and beyond to ensure we felt comfortable navigating the train system once the tour had concluded. A truly lovely family-friendly experience that we highly recommend!

A terrific Tokyo tour - Naomi was an absolute pleasure! Patient, knowledgeable and accommodating, we felt we were simply spending the day with a friend. She shared so much about Japanese culture and history and was flexible with the schedule which made it even more enjoyable as we were able see and absorb so much during the tour. Definitely a highly recommended tour.

Fantastic guide Izumi! - We did this tour with two adults and two children aged 9 and 7. We visited Asakusa, the Tsukiji Fish Market and Ginza. Izumi was a fantastic and knowledgeable guide who shared many interesting facts. The kids were particularly engaged with the fortune sheets at Senso-Ji shrine, including the animated way in which one obtains their fortune. The children also loved ‘Buddha’s Breath’, the incense stand, and the main hall of the temple itself. Shopping for half an hour in Asakusa and trying street food was also a real highlight for us and for the children. The fish market was exciting and vibrant with many places to eat; Izumi helped us find a proper sit down restaurant of high quality (many places in the market are “stand up only”, but our kids needed to sit down). Izumi also provided me with a metro map and explained about the two different ownerships of the different lines - invaluable information (for this reason I recommend doing his tour on day #1 in Tokyo if you can). The whole day was about 2km of walking, give or take, so not too much for littler legs, but we would have struggled to do this tour with a pram (many steps in the metro; having said that, I’m sure Izumi would have a pram strategy!). I hope this information helps you.

Fumiko is a great guide especially for families! - Fumiko was a fantastic, friendly and highly knowledgeable tour guide. She designed a fabulous and memorable day in Tokyo based on my children’s interests, and was so flexible when they became tired and hungry. I can highly recommend her!

Young family welcome, Ted is spectacular and patient - We had guide Ted. He was well educated in Tokyo history, very patient with our 4 year old and 11 month old and an expert on the Tokyo Train System. He changed our itinerary on the run, including a visit to Pokemon Centre Tokyo for our 4 year old boy. After spending the day with Ted we were confident in hitting the trains for the upcoming 4 days we had in Tokyo by ourselves. Ted showed us the old school sights of Tokyo and the new “trendy” streets and culture. If Ted was up to it, after spending all day with my crazy family we would definitely go with him again and I would recommend his tour to everyone

Highly recommend - We had Show as our guide for the day, it was the best decision to have taken a private guide. It was such a nice day, we learned a lot and Show was the best guide! Would highly recommend :-)

Perfect day in Tokyo - As we planned our first full day in Tokyo, we felt it was important to have a guide to welcome us to the city. Naoko is so sweet. My 9 year old enjoyed talking to her and playing at a cat cafe. She was excellent at helping us reserve seats for the JR passes we needed to book for our trip. Because you are spending several hours with someone who knows the subway system, it’s nice to ask all questions for the rest of the days. She made recommendations on what routes to take for when we were on our own. She made it super easy for us! Arigato gozaimasu
