Wow! This is a “must-do” tour! - What an incredible tour!! Our guide, Hina, was wonderful and very professional. She took us through Senso-ji temple and the surrounding area and explained many things along the way. I really learned a lot on this tour! She then took us to a matcha factory where we learned how matcha is made, starting from the cultivation process through grinding it into powder - which we were able to try! Then matcha tasting (which was amazing), and afterward, lunch. This tour really is worth your time; and I would definitely recommend Hina if you can get her as your guide!

Asakusa temples shrines and okonomiyaki! - Great time in Asakusa. My dad and I were the only ones on the tour. Ryo explained the cultural aspects of the Sensoji temple. He showed us all the best shops to buy souvenirs. The matcha tea making and tea ceremony was pretty cool. Lunch was the best part making the Japanese Okonomiyaki, it was delicious! Special thanks to Ryo for taking us all the way to the kitchen goods street where I found the perfect chefs knife.

Fun experience - Our guide was wonderful. Our only complaint - at no fault of his - was the crowds in late May at the temple. The variety in the tour (temple, Namikase, making matcha and making lunch) kept it interesting (when traveling with teenagers that’s no small feat!).
