Experience Tokyo in a way unlike any other. - On our first day in Tokyo, we wanted to cover a lot of spots, and while it may sound strange, bicycling is, in certain respects, easier than walking, especially after having walked so much in the preceding week. At times it was a little scary when the crowds were heavy so I would suggest telling Joey that say your 10-year-old might not be attentive as adult to difficulties associated with crowds on a small part of the tour. The bikes were excellent quality and trust me when I say, you've never seen a garage full of bicycles the way you will on this tour. The highlights were probably Ueno Park and although I'm somewhat embarrassed to say it, riding through the area with all the Maid Cafe's. It's just stuff you won't see other than in Japan. In terms of exertion, I'm an out-of-shape 62-year-old, so do not hesitate to go on this ride. You can do it, but do tell Joey if you are averse to riding in crowds. You could simply get off your bike and walk a bit if you get concerned, but for us, it was a great way to spend three hours, and I was pleased as punch over the break from walking and finding out, "Hey, I can actually do this!"

Great Bike Ride with original lunch. - We took a bike ride Shogun and is very pleasant. Total distance was around 20km and we took 10-20 minute rides between stops. All the places we visited were not crowded and have given us an impression of Tokyo we would have missed if we did not take this tour. Everyone visiting Tokyo should take the tour. One of the Highlights was lunch, were we ate typical Sumo Ringer Food.

Great way to see the sights - A great way to acclimatise when you arrive into Tokyo and see the sights. Quite fast paced, so not much time to stop and see the places of interest - but gives you a good list of places to go back and spend more time at

The temple and its markets were great for us seeing as we won’t have found it with our you. I loved the Japanese food - We loved all the new opportunities we got as well as all the fun facts we learnt about Tokyo and it’s history. Riding though new places was super fun.

Fast riding through an early dark October evening, best for experienced riders. - While I personally enjoyed the thrill of riding through Tokyo in the early dark of October, it would not be for everyone. I was the only participant. My guide rode fast and didn’t look back once she saw that I could keep up, and occasionally she would take off like a shot and I’d have to scramble. Tokyo cyclists sometimes ride on the sidewalks and maneuver through busy crowds, which was sometimes tricky (and strangely fun) to have to follow. My guide didn’t always have a lot to say about our stops, but she was nice and tried to personalize where we went. She lost her way a couple of times and after checking her phone, we had to double back. While that guide would not be great for less experienced cyclists, another guide might be just fine, and riding in Tokyo was something I’m glad to have done.
