• Tianxiang Scenic Area - Tianxiang is situated along the eastern section of the Central Cross-Island Highway, approximately 19 km from Taroko Gorge. Here, the Dasha and Tacijili Rivers converge to form the Liwu River, whose long history of sedimentation and erosion has created striking multi-terraced riverbanks. This expansive valley once thrived with restaurants, shops, and hotels, but after the 2024 earthquake, visitor numbers dwindled, and many businesses relocated—leaving behind a serene, almost untouched atmosphere.
