Amazing Experience - Even though the weather only allowed for the half-day tour instead of the full-day, it was still an unforgettable experience. Watching the surfers at the world-famous Teahupoo wave and taking in the raw beauty of Tahiti Iti was truly special. Haunui is a fantastic captain and guide – knowledgeable, friendly, and kind. I felt very well taken care of and learned a lot along the way. Highly recommend!

Lovely introduction to Tahiti! - This was our first excursion during our vacation. The directions to the launch were good; there is a small parking fee (500 pfx). The boat is operated by a family and their island hospitality was great- the banana pancakes, fruits, and juices were tasty. First stop was snorkeling on one of the coral mounts- really nice 30 ft drop off to get a bit of a wall. Next was to Teahupo’o, got to see some good rides. The tour went all the way past the last house and the view of the peaks and valleys were spectacular! We stopped at the hiking cabin and went up a river. You can get out and wade here. Fruits, juices, and spiked punch was served. It was just a lovely trip and such a great way to kick off our trip.

Must see tour of Teahupoo and Tahiti-iti - This was an incredible experience, and we are so happy that we took this tour. We were lucky to experience the powerful waves of Teahupoo breaking perfectly, and the tour of the Tahiti Peninsula with lunch on the river was magical! Thank you for a perfect tour and an awesome Tahitian experience. We can't wait to return!

Splendid tour - Excellent tour with a pilot guide himself surfing! Very nice with lots of explanations. This surf village is better understood after this excursion.

Day with friends +++ - Day with super friendly friends, good atmosphere with our guides, visit the wave of Teahupoo safe with the Pilot! Several spots for swimming (sea/river), nice little hike from 7 to 77 years, lunch on the nice boat, bbq meal, papaya, swimming again! I recommend +++

Teahupo'o after the Olympics. - An excursion a bit ruined by the very bad weather that day. However, we were able to appreciate the kindness of our service providers who did everything to introduce us to the mythical wave of Teahupo'o and its surroundings. We even saw the famous whale in the field of the Judges Tower. Exceptional to see in the same place this whale whose photo toured the world during the surfing events of the Olympic Games.

Great tour but challenging - We had booked a half day trip and were spontaneously invited to join the whole day because all other guests had booked the full day trip. We didn't regret it! The snorkeling was great and the hike to the waterfall a real highlight. But beware: For this hike you have to be really fit! In places you have to pull yourself up/down on ropes. The tour guides are very nice and tried and simply carried our 5 year old daughter over the most difficult places. But: The stones are very slippery and I fell despite water shoes and smashed my shin. I would do the tour again at any time, but next time just keep my sneakers on and run with them through water and mud. The subsequent stop to eat was very nice. The food itself was delicious and swimming in the river with swing rope was fun.

If you're in Tahiti this is a must - Great day. Waves were amazing and hike was also fantastic. If you go to Tahiti this is a must. Our driver was a bit conservative, so he positioned himself mostly behind the wave, which doesn't show the impact as much. I wish he was a little more assertive. I get it's about safety, but we were the only boat on that side. Oh well was still great, but maybe he can position himself on the facing side going forward.
