Tahaa Quad Tour - Vanilla, Rum, and Pearls - This tour was everything we wanted and more. Our guide Joel is exactly the type of person you want to lead you on this adventure. Joel is kind, fun, upbeat, knowledgeable, and an overall great person. He will make sure you get to see all the Island has to offer. On our tour we signed up for the group trip but it wound up being private. Joel took us to the rum distillery, the vanilla plantation, a pearl farm, and an excursion up into the mountains. At each location we were greeted by a host to show us around each activity. We learned so much at each location and were able to buy all the souvenirs we were looking for. My wife felt very safe and had a wonderful time. Joel was courteous and a great guide. Would recommend anytime.

Wonderful tour of a beautiful island - The tour was one of the highlights of our trip in French Polynesia. After short stops in a rum distillery, pearl farm and vanilla plantation, we did an amazing off-road tour in the mountain jungle ending in a wonderful lookout between pineapple fields and papaya trees.
Our guides were very friendly, helpful and wanted to make this experience as personalized and memorable as possible for us.

Our tour guides were the... - Our tour guides were the best, we went to so many great spots and got an amazing view of the island from the mountains! The ATV was easy enough to operate and fun to drive. Thank you John and Hine for taking us around the island!!

Extraordinary - We had a great time during our quad bike getaway.

We had a great ride!!! Joel is very energetic! - Such a great ride. We went on main road and also through the jungle areas and saw many areas. Stopped along the way several times to discuss the island and its beauty. Stopped at the Rum distillery, the Pearl farm, and the vanilla store. Very informative on the vanilla. Joel and his partner were Awesome! Would highly recommend!!

A Soulful Ride through Taha’a: Adventure, Culture and Connection - If you’re heading to Tahaa and looking for more than just a thrill ride, Tahaa Earth and Sea is an absolute must. This ATV tour, run by the dynamic duo Joel and Hine, strikes the perfect balance between adventure, cultural immersion, and heartfelt hospitality.
The bikes were brand new and handled beautifully on both rugged terrain and beachside paths. But it was the energy of the hosts that truly made the day. Joel brought infectious enthusiasm, humor, and an easy charm that made the whole experience feel like an epic ride with a friend. Hine, by contrast, offered a steady, grounding presence — thoughtful, calm, and deeply connected to the land. Together, their dynamic was magnetic: ambitious and professional, yet warm, laid-back, and deeply personal.
This wasn’t some cookie-cutter excursion. Joel and Hine clearly care — about the island, its stories, and the people they host. The entire day felt intentionally curated just for us. From visiting ancient ruins to learning about the local myths — including the water gods, shark ancestors, and the sinister eels (yes, evil eels!) — we were taken on a journey that blended adrenaline with myth and meaning.
One unexpected highlight? Our fun and open conversations about the cultural differences between French Polynesia and America — both hilarious and illuminating. It’s rare to laugh this hard, learn this much, and feel this connected all in one outing.

*FUN Quad Adventure* - This was our first ATV excursion so we didn't know what to expect. We were not disappointed. Joel and his wife were the best! Their knowledge, passion and enthusiasm for the island was evident in their insightful and engaging tour, showcasing their expertise. It was so much fun!! The 4 hour tour felt like 2 hours. We went to a pearl farm, a vanilla farm, toured the city, and my favorite was the mountain/jungle tour. We can't wait to go back to Taha'a! If ever in Taha'a and want a exciting excursion look for Taha'a Earth and Sea

Great day in Taha’a - Wonderful experience touring the entire island . Joel was enthusiastic and informative. ATV’s were new models and easy to operate . Great opportunity to visit a pearl farm, vanilla plantation and run distillery— all in one morning. Also off-road experience through local farms with great vistas . Highly recommend.
