- Tapera da Bedita - We are situated near the boundary of Cunha/Paraty, approximately a 45-minute drive from the entrance of Paraty.\nYou’ll ascend through the Serra da Bocaina park, enjoying picturesque scenery and reaching elevations of around 1,300 meters, offering stunning vistas.\nOur Experience includes:\n introductory equestrian lessons (for novices)\n a horseback trek on private land (lasting 1 hour and 15 minutes)\n an immersion in horse care and management\n An exclusive picnic at the Belvedere\n Insights into the local culture, history, and natural environment.\n Dedicated Taxi service for pick-up and drop-off (from the city center)\nThe total time for the experience is about 5 hours, which includes the 45-minute journey through Bacaina Park (to and back).\nCollection times are at 9 am for the morning session and 12:30 pm for the afternoon.\nThis outing is private for your group or duo, and times are not communal.\nA minimum of 2 and a maximum of 4 participants are required.\nKey points to note:\n- Attire: long trousers and closed-toe footwear.\n- It’s advised to bring insect repellent, sunblock, and a camera for photographs.\n- Remember that animals are sentient beings that require care and attention.\n- In the event of intense rainfall, we may have to cancel the reservation.\n- Helmets are provided and must be worn during the ride.

Highly recommended - Amazing tour in a beauteful scenery. All of us enjoyed the trip and Raul was a great guide for a family with little experience with horseback riding.

The best and most horse friendly ridinglesson of my travels! - This was maybe the best horsebackriding lesson that I have got on my travels. When I travel, I always want to search for a local stable with a nice vibe, and have one ridinglesson there. This was the best of all the ones I've made.
The horses seemed to enjoy their surrounding a lot, and Raul was clearly taking good care of them. The area where we rode was beautiful and wild, and it belonged to the stables areas. The picnic was also nice, but the most special thing was to learn how to ride without a saddle. And the horses! So lovely! I miss them so much!
Raul also thought me about the flora and fauna of the area, and i got to bring some pink pepper with me to Finland. Then I was able to tell everyone, that I have been riding as far as where the pepper grows!

Great experience and great views! - My family and I went horseback riding in March with Raul and it was so fun!
The view of the mountains is breathtaking! Raul takes you on a trail along the property and will show you his garden and the different trees. The horses are very nice and calm and this is a good activity for any novice riders!

Completely magical - ! - This experience felt like a pinch me once in a lifetime - truly magical few hours with wonderful kind and experienced Raul. We loved spending time at his beautiful farm and listening to his knowledge about the horses. The route was absolutely stunning with views right across the mountains and valleys - Raul thank you for this mega highlight of our trip! This is what they mean when they say ‘food for the soul’ x

Amazing experience with Raul, recommended to anyone who loves horses and nature - This was one of the best days of our vacation! Everything went really well, the communication via Viator/ WhatsApp, the pick-up (outside the old town of Paraty as there are no cars allowed), the drive to Rauls farm (approx. 40 mins through beautiful nature with a really friendly driver whose name we forgot, unfortunately!) and of course, especially the horse riding itself. I have been horse riding for more than 20 years while my boyfriend is a beginner. We searched a lot because I care about horses and wanted an experience where the animals are treated well. Here, we found it! Raul's family lives in the area since 4 generations and he handles his animal with love and respect - they are like family to him. Also, he did a great job in helping my boyfriend on the horse and with handling his horse. We spent enough time to get familiar with the animals, then also went a bit faster. Raul showed us many native plants and explained a lot about the area, nature and horses while we we riding across the hills. It was such a pleasure to spend the time on his farm! The picknick was very nice, too, with great food and a view that leaves you speechless. Our favorite moment was going bare back on the horses after the trip. I can only recommend this to anyone who genuinely is interested in animals and nature. We would come back any time. Muito obrigada Raul, foi um prazer!

Great Experience! - We had an amazing time with Raul. This is really an intimate countryside farm experience where you explore his beautiful farm in the mountains. He was very attentive in his instructions along with giving us good info on the farm’s history and the area. Highly recommend!

Must do when in Brasil! - Had an amazing experience at Raul's ranch. Before we started he made us connect with the horses. He explained everything perfectly. While riding the horses, he explained about horsemanship, the life of the animals around his home and so much more. The ranch is located in a marvelous place. After the ride we got a nice pick-nick in a once in a lifetime setting. The views are breathtaking Raul, our mountain friend from Brasil, when I'm back in Brasil one day, I'll come back to visit you and you're beautiful home on top of the hill. Thank you for having us and being so nice to us.

Fantastic horse and nature experience! - A fantastic day with Raul and his horses. Kind, safe horses and Raul was a calm, skilled and knowledgeable teacher who speaks good English. Our children aged 10 and 12 felt very safe. Lovely area and nature. The trip ends with a very good picnic. Can really be recommended!
