A must-see when you're in Bali! - We were five in our group when we booked this tour and we really enjoyed it. It was a very relaxing tour as our guide Agus didn’t rush us and was more than happy to answer all our questions about the history and significance of the temple. He even shared his own personal stories about it, which were great. All in all it was an afternoon well spent and I would recommend it to anyone looking to visit and learn about Tanah Lot. It is a UNESCO World Heritage site for a reason! The sunset was beautiful too!

Awesome guide! - Tanah Lot is a must-visit when in Bali! And if you don’t have much time to spare, I would recommend going on this tour. Our guide Dewa was the BEST! He reached out to us the night before confirming our pick up and was at our hotel 10 minutes before. But he didn’t rush us and told us to take our time. He was so funny, making us laugh and if he didn’t know something, he would Google it and show us what he meant. He went above and beyond!! When we wanted something to drink, he brought us to this stall that sold the best fruit juices. When we wanted to stop for photos, he gamely took them for us. Would recommend going on this tour with him!

Great Tour - It turned out that I was the only person and so it ended up exclusively for me alone. In a situation like this, some companies come up with some excuse to cancel the trip, but this tour company , TheTripGuru, did not fail to meet its commitment. Good job. The tour and the guide Santik both were excellent.

Tanah Lot Sunset - We booked the Tanah Lot sunset tour whilst we were staying in Sanur. Our guide spoke very good English and was very knowledgeable, telling us the history of the temple as well as the traditions and ceremonies that take place and knowing which spot was best to view the sunset from. Would definitely recommend this trip.

Beautiful location and experience - What a beautiful location and experience. Our driver, Agus, arrived in plenty of time and messaged us to say he had arrived. Did offer to take us to the coffee plantation beforehand but we had already been. It meant we had plenty of time to explore Tanah Lot, enjoy, take photos and do some shopping before heading to the sunset bar for actual sunset. Spectacular views and we are so pleased we took the trip.

Magical - A magical, beautiful place to visit, stroking the holy snakes, and bring blessed at holy water fountain was great. My driver / guide was very accommodating, and flexible to my needs as a solo traveller.

Good tour but not a good guide. - Started off badly. Driver was nearly half an hour late and I had already texted him to find out where he was. When he arrived he just said traffic was bad - no apology. Tanah Lot was beautiful but kept losing the guide. We then all sat at a table for a drink to watch the sunset which was great. The guide had said to us that he was going to the toilet. We waited but he didn’t come back so decided to make our way back to where we had left one of the group ( he was feeling the heat ) When we reached the person we had left he said the guide had passed him about 20 mins before and to meet him at the car! Lucky we had made a move or we’d still be sitting at the table waiting for him to come back from the “toilet “ !!! Not good!!!

Con men - Terrible experience, 1hour late to pick up and no communication from them, tour not completed as advertised, missed 2 out of 3 temples. Didn’t have a tour guide, had non-English speaking driver, so just pointing and following! When I contacted them to complain got a pack of lies stating tour activities completed and that we had a professional fluent english tour guide. AVOID!

Stay away from these SCAMMERS!!! - I booked the tour and on the day of the tour was notified by the driver who were supposed to come pick me up that he cannot make it because of the traffic - after making me wait for an hour he said I should cancel the tour and rebook for another day. What’s even worse despite cancelling the tour now aviator rejects refunding me for a trip that never happened. Stay away from these SCAMMERS!!!
