• Syracuse - A personal, licensed guide will meet you at your accommodation or port in Syracuse to begin an exciting private journey to Europe’s tallest active volcano. • Mount Etna - The journey continues up Mount Etna to the “Rifugio Sapienza” station at 2000 meters. Here, you can explore the renowned Silvestri Craters, take in the stunning views, browse souvenir shops with lava gifts, and relax at a bar or restaurant.
  There is an optional ascent by cable car or 4X4 with a certified Alpine guide to 3000 meters.
  After exploring Mt. Etna, the guide will take you to one of the finest wineries on the Etna slopes. At the winery, you will tour the estate, observe grape cultivation, and visit the cellars while an expert sommelier explains the winemaking process and the history of this family-owned winery. You will then enjoy a traditional lunch featuring locally produced cheeses, salami, prosciutto, fresh bread, olives, olive oil, and a typical pasta dish. A professional sommelier will serve you four glasses of Sicilian Etna red and white wines.
