  • Fonte Aretusa - Leaving Piazza Duomo we will reach the sea and the legendary Aretusa spring where it will be possible to admire the papyrus plants and where you will discover the romantic myth linked to this place.
  • Lungomare Di Levante Ortigia - We will cross the island reaching the suggestive eastern promenade and the small beach of Cala Rossa
  • La Via Della Giudecca - We will end the tour by crossing the picturesque Giudecca district, the ancient Jewish quarter of Syracuse.

Explore Ortigia, Syracuse’s historic core during a group excursion that roams through significant spaces and history on the island. Commencing at Apollo’s Temple, Sicily first Greek temple, we’ll meander through quaint streets to reach Piazza del Duomo, where an optional visit to the interior of the Cathedral is offered (only when no religious events are ongoing).
Moving on from Piazza Duomo and Santa Lucia church, we encounter the splendid Fonte Aretusa, a place of legend in Ortigia. Finally, we venture the less-trodden roads of the Giudecca, the old Jewish district. This group excursion presents a chance to discover Ortigia with fellow travel enthusiasts, soaking in the marvels of this Sicilian gem. The meeting point is in the clearing in front of the temple of Apollo, on the right side, in the area between the pedestrian crossing towards Corso Matteotti and the benches. Depending on the season, the exact spot may vary slightly. The guide will have a Hermes Sicily Tours logo.

to redo - Beautiful tour of Ortigia. Very knowledgeable and friendly guide. It is worth doing this tour because Ortigia, being a small island, is very suitable and has a lot of history to tell. advised.
