- Keilir - A local guide will take you on an adventurous hike up to Mount Keilir, the signature mountain of the Reykjanes peninsula. You will experience lava fields, moss, an amazing view and mindfulness on this tour as well as stories from our guide.
We drive to the Reykjanes peninsula and walk in lava fields to the roots of the mountain. After a short break, we hike to the top where we enjoy rewarding views over the Reykjanes peninsula, the newest mountains in Iceland from the Fagradalsfjall eruption, see over the whole capital area and sign the guestbook at the top!
The final part of the hike is challenging, involving loose gravel and steep mountain hill.
